Hello all,

I have couple of queries regarding my pr applications.
1. I have claimed points for my sibling in canada but recently my sibling has changed house so do I need to update ircc regarding change in her address?
2. I am currently residing in UAE but I am planning to go to my home country for 1month vacation. Do I need to update ircc regarding the same?

I shall really appreciate if you could help me with this.

Thanks in advance.

Hello Guys,

So submitted my biometrics on December 6th along with my Wife. My wife had some trouble with her fingerprints. The VAC told us the finterprint was not clear and the high commission might not accept it, they might ask to redo it. If they do, do not panic and schedule another appointment.

The problem is it's extremely difficult to get biometric appointments in my country as the VAC is swamped with applicants. The next available slot will be in February.

I checked my profile after submitting the biometric. It says "December 6, 2020, Completed". Looks like my Wife's biometric number is also updated. Does this mean they have already accepted it?

TIA

Hi Preetam,

How and where did u get the appointment .? As VACs are only taking appointments for Family Class and Students.? Can u please help.?

Thanks in Advance

1. No, if you provided all the documents, i.e. proof or relationship and residence in Canada, no need to update. If IRCC asks you for more documents, you can provide the latest ones.

2. No, only if you change your country of residence permanently, you have to update IRCC.

Update:

I traveled to do the biometrics in a different center (local center is closed due to coronavirus).

FSW(Outland)
CRS: 481
ITA: July 9th
AOR: October 6th
MEP & BIL: November 23rd
Biometric: Dec 4th (results appeared on my profile at the same day!).

Progress bar showing 35% processing time. :D

Just called IRCC agents to check the status of my application:

Eligibility: Not yet started
Security: Not yet started
Criminality: In Progress

The agent said the VO is apparently Centralized Intake Office (CIO).

AOR 5th October 2020, MEP Passed November 23rd, 2020 and BIL Pending.
Will your VO change later? Any idea?
