No it might cause issue on airport
She needs separate letter or her passport number mentioned in the same letter
You should call or email to clarify
Whom should we send email?? To IRCC?? Or Embassy? There is no way to call someone and clarify..

please, for those has written email to the IRCC to get the written authorization letter and they got positive response .
how it was the form of the email ,it was question, response to give them the information or it was as full text hold all the information they asked for.

in my case my husband is working in Canada. i got a open work visa but it expired. i applied for new visitor visa. i didn't get response yet ,i found that i can send them email to speed my process and get the response. in another hand my children have visitor visa .they need only the authorization letter.

my second question ,can i send one email talk about my visa process and ask for the authorization letter for my kids or i should send the separate email?

I can explain my Case. But that is diff. just see if it helps.

I wrote email to IRCC for getting authorization for me and my Kid for visiting my Sister (Canadian) as extended family member. We both had valid visa and I did not have any Work permit or PR request pending. Since I submitted only 1 IMM0006 which is for me, they had provided approval only for me. Looks like we need IMM0006 for each of the traveler. I attached the requested documents and my air ticket and it took 8 Working days for me to get the approval.

I have a question if anyone can help and let me know to whom I should contact in this situation. I am in Canada on a study permit and my husband got a spouse open work permit on 2nd November 2020. He applied for a written authorization letter on 9th November 2020. We didn't hear back from them. He booked his flight for 1st December. We tried a lot to get information but everywhere they said it's a different apartment we have no information on how much time they will take to process the request. I am really worried about what to do now. Today is the 16th Working day after applying and we took the risk if they send but due to time zone change we canceled the flight It's with the penalty but we don't have any other option. We can push the flight but not sure how much time they required so thought cancellation is good for now.
How I should contact IRCC? Any suggestions please or what should I do?

The site clearly states not to book flights until you are approved. You can raise a webform but they are inundated with the same requests so you may not get a response right away.

Actually, I saw the website before when the information was to process the application within 5 working days and if you booked a flight you should attach a travel document along with the email. I don't know when they updated that. But I was satisfied even after this because our flight booking was after 16 working days. But they didn't respond. I don't know whom I should contact to get information. Day by day situation become worse related to Corona and I am afraid what strategy they will adopt

Hey guys, If someone got the authorization letter already, did you get any difficulties in the Airport or if you have the letter you do not have to worry about anything?

He got a response on the 1st of December. Although he missed his flight But now we booked another one. For our request processing, they took 16 working days, and on the 17th day, they sent us early morning. I think in your case you are still in the timeline they mentioned for processing so don't worry you will get that.
