I just received web from request, but I have a question about : "The background verifications are currently valid." , so what does it mean? Any experts could help please.
I also applied for web inquiry. After how long did they reply to you? Because mine is like 1.5 week now

not an expert but I think your security and criminality has been completed. Call them tomorrow for clarification?
I am not quite sure, the full response is:
  • The background verifications are currently valid.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification is in process.

Hi @legalfalcon

I guess I'm just getting paranoid about this, but wanted to seek your expert thoughts.

Question: Could an officer mark Eligibility as Passed without entering any notes?

Below are some of my observations for my gcms notes:

1. On Page 2, under assessments, I see that Eligibility has been marked as Passed.

2. No officer notes, I see only Program Assistant and Case Processing Agent notes.

3. Under Activities:

4. Security is not started.

Thanks in advance

Don't go by page 2 assessment. Instead see the notes, that is what matters.

@legalfalcon Since I don't see officer's note, would you say that it is still recommended passed? Isn't that "Selection EE-Econ" could only be marked passed by an officer?

EE-Econ refers to Express Entry Economic program.

If you do not have an officer's note then your eligibility is recommended passed. However, if the program assistant's note or the analyst's note Is all clear, you should not have any issues with eligibility.

Can some one please help me in sending pictures for permanent resident card . How i have to apply after copr
So you must either have your COPR or a link to PR portal at this point. If it is COPR then there must be an address on the top left corner. That is the address of visa office where your card will be printed. On the 3rd page of your COPR letter, there should be pr photo specifications given. If not google pr card photo. Print that along with copr and bring it to staples/walmart/ costco. Get your photo taken. Ask them to stamp the date along with name & address of the photo studio. Then write your name UCI and DOB on back with pen. You then have to go to canada post ask them for an expressmail envelope (so you can track it). Put your photo & copr print it in and mail it to the local vo address mentioned on copr.

Does anyone know if my employer MUST complete any NEW steps (since I moved to Canada nearly 2 years ago) before I start the process of bridging my work permit? The 'guide' about it online is hard to follow.

I'm on an LMIA exempt work permit, lawyers previous completed work for that process. I know I can extend via the same lawyers, but I think bridging it makes more sense at this stage as fairly well down the road to PR hopefully soon.

Any information or help much appreciated.
@legalfalcon

Thanks

If you are applying for BOWP, your employer has no role to play.

What about lawyers who previously did my work permit stuff?

Just trying to confirm if I can BOWP completely myself without having to engage lawyers or my employer.
When I read the guide it said my employer had to upload 'new job offer' and pay fee? Before I could do the BOWP.

Thanks for swift reply.

I am not quite sure, the full response is:

I am also thinking to raise a webform enquiry. what did you write there ?
