How does service canada track your working hours?

Actually i was wondering that how does service canada get to know that how many hours you're working?

On their website it's mentioned that employers have to report ROE(Record Of Employment) only when a employee leaves a job however for example if a employee never leaves a job and still applies for a new immigration document like study permit renewal how does CIC get to know that how many hours a student has worked?

It's done by payroll -- the employer has to legally submit your hours to the CRA.

What is your real question? Have you been fired and you're worried it is going to impact your study permit? Employers don't report working hours only if you quit the job -- not sure where you heard that!

Your employer reports your payroll info. It is very easy to deduce how many hours you worked. Reviewing your NOA with your job info will also make it easy to figure out how many hours you are likely working. Is it worth losing your chance at PR since you seem to be working over 20 hours?

Well CRA has all your tax information regardless of any 'reporting' but if your concern is you being reported for overworking to CIC/IRCC for PGWP or PR purposes then someone will need to flag you have overworked your allotted amount. I suspect CIC will then crosscheck with CRA and then have you status revoked if you have.

They dont have this information. Tax records are not shared with other agencies under normal circumstances those are private.

That's not true. Employers have to report payroll to the CRA. Monthly or Quarterly.
