I just received an Email on Principal Applicant email address to submit Passport.

I did not submit the passport. My mom is in Canada and she was made PR without being given an immigrant visa. She only got COPR through email and mycic.

For SA approval, being parent here in Canada is not helping much.
If you case is near completion after medicals and other documents submissions, at that stage it may be helpful now as IRCC is doing virtual landing for those parents who are already in Canada.

Unfortunately our case get stack more than year. My parents in Germany . We got AOR on October 2019 confirming process and sines that no updates. Too sad. I send latter to mt MP and they did not help much. Just the same information -SA in process from October 25th 2019. More than year!!! I relay do not know what to do any more.

Where was your father biometrics done?

His appointment is scheduled for Nov 25. We haven't heard anything from VFS regarding my mother's biometrics appointment. I don't know if they are very responsive and can accommodate my Mother's appointment on the same day as my father's. Let's see.

Hi @K0c4nbi3t , what process did you follow for your sister? did you request special entry allowance for your sister as she is not considered immediate family member of yours? also can you please let me know when the landing is done? I am in the same boat, my siblings are dependents in the PGP application, and I need them all come together at once, and I know with COVID and new post November entry rules things can get more complicated.

Get GCMS note and try to reach your MLA also if your SA is still in process.
It is not sure for your case but many friends are reporting that their file was stuck in the social service organization that is a provincial body.
You have to talk with MLA and MP in person or over the phone rather than sending a letter. Most MPs have a an assistant who deals with the immigration case. You have to understand that immigration being federal jurisdiction MP's inquiry will be taken seriously while SSC is under provincial jurisdiction, MLA has more knowledge about it.
Being your parent here in Canada will not help much in the stage of your case.
