Thank you for your insight. I guess if we come to Toronto it will be primarily to see family. It seems there is no sure way to speed up the process. So annoying, especially with medicals expiring in February. Ah well.
Don't worry about medical expiry as in few cases medicals have been extended another year. At present, the most important thing is to be safe from the effects of pandemics.
Hey! My parents live in India. The VFS opened today for biometrics for family class. I am trying to book biometrics appointment by filling out the webform. I just need assistance in filling out the webform for biometrics. My father is the primary applicant and mother is dependent. When I try to fill out the form its asking me how many applicants, if I put 2 then the system does not let me use BIL# (application#) twice. My parents are on the same application and have the same application number. If I put 1 applicant and application number, the system lets me move forward but does not give me the option to add a dependent. Both of them need to provide biometrics. Has anyone dealt with this? Please help!

Application received june 18,2019. Stuck in Process for both sides since Feb 07,2020. No progress at all, request GCnote, and contacted MP and received nothing.... just in Process.
Any suggestion?????? we are all worried and tired of waiting and checking the status every day.

There is nothing to worry, still lot of applications are in process for May month even some from April also. Yours is 3rd week of June so it may take some time. Because of pandemic the schedule has been changed. IRCC is also trying to clear the backlog as 2020 pgp and next 2021 pgp application will be entered in the system. Have patience and hopefully some good news will come soon.
today I got PPR from NDVO. may 9th applicant. DM2 on Nov 14, 2020
It may impact if conditions will not improve. Present Ottawa is still better than other places in Ontario.
