Hello everyone, I am applying for FSW EE PR with 2173 - Software engineer and designers.
These are the job duties listed on one of my letters whose NOC I had entered as 2173. Does this look good? Or should it be 2174 or 2175? All my other jobs are under 2173. Please guide.
I am really worried about this. @legalfalcon what do you think?

As per IRCC your job duties listed in your work reference letter should substantially meet the job duties listed in the NOC selected. There is no one size fits all, you will have to compare your JDs.

Based on what you have, you should expand them more.
Hi @legalfalcon,
Can I change the NOC of my job after ITA? My primary NOC is 2173. I have more than 1 year of experience in the primary NOC. I have all jobs as 2173, and I received ITA on the basis of that. But if I have to change, then would my score reduce? how would change in NOC affect my score? Please help. I am really anxious about this.

Hi @legalfalcon ,

Initially I was asked for PCC from country of education in my PR application (it was a distant learning), however now I have added by correspondence.
Now it doesnt ask for PCC.
Is it okay or I still need to provide LOE?

@legalfalcon . Please I need your help. I got ADR for Schedule 4. I submitted it the same day it was requested. However, I didn't sign it but only filled my name on the form. Do I need to fill, print, sign and send it again by CSE?

Thank you.

If you sent is via webform, then you will have to take a print and sign it. If you submitted it via MyCIC account, then you do not need to sign it as you electronically sign all documents submitted with IRCC.

You should provide a LoE and just inform that your education was a distance learning one and you never visited the country. However, IRCC can ask any additional documents at their discretion.

Does that mean if I have PGWP and a job (Non LMIA), I don't need Proof of Funds?

Yes, that is correct. If you’re authorised to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, you do not need PoF. However, you will have to explain it in LoE.

Who does not need proof of funds
You don’t need to show that you have enough money to support yourself and your family if

  • you’re applying under the Canadian Experience Class or
  • you’re authorized to work in Canada and you have a valid job offer, even if you apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program or the Federal Skilled Trades Program
Keep your funds up to date in your profile. The system may find that you’re eligible for more than 1 program. You don’t always know ahead of time which program you’ll be invited under.

YEs, you can change your NOC post ITA. It has no bearing on the processing of your application. Changing the NOC does not impact your CRS. Only if your received PNP nomination under the NOC, then you cannot change it.

Hello Legalfalcon, Thanks for helping the members on this forum, You have been Awesome, I have a query can you please help out.

My query is related to express entry profile. What happens to express entry profile after we receive the ITA. Does it gets locked ?

Let me explain. My express entry profile is due to expire in last week of Dec 2020, and I am expecting PNP nomination from SINP by first week of Dec (Not Sure but i am at ADR stage). Say I get ITA in the last draw of the year. Do I need to create a new express entry profile (Profile need to be active if we want to submit the application) or it gets locked.

Secondly, My IELTS is expiring in Jan 2021, will that be valid if I receive ITA in Dec, or I need to take IELST again.

I know this looks too tight but just to be sure. What do you suggest, should I create a new express entry profile now and send new details to SINP. Secondly, shall I retake the IELTS and book appointment for that.

Thanks. Cheers !!!

All documents have to be valid on the day you submit your application, for IELTS and ECA they have to be 2 years of less on the day when you submit the complete application, and not the ITA.

For Canadian education degrees issued by institutions that are recognised can be used towards points.

Is your PCC obtained as per IRCC recommendations and is clear?

IRCC doe snot care whether you were paid hourly or weekly. All it asks is that the work experience you claim points for is paid.
