You can come to Canada on a study permit provided you're willing to pay international student fees. Generally speaking you would want your planned studies in Canada to make sense in light of your previous experience and education. So not sure about the feasibility of getting a study permit for the above. The biggest problem with trades is that you have to complete an apprentiship program to be certified and these are generally only open to Canadian citizens or PRs.And these are examples of careers exempt in BC. I was about to spend another year doing a Masters, but I could train to be a cabinet maker, Id enjoy that ! It is a shame I cannot come there to do the study and find a job.

If you want to come to Canada to study, I would strongly recommend you go for a Master's in your field and not a trade.
