Hi I have a question about the passport copies. It says just the biographical pages but somewhere I saw someone ask if travel stamps have to be translated. Should we copy all pages with stamps too?

Stamps copies are not required... Only biological pages of all the Passports covering you your 5 years period

Not when submitting your Citizenship application.

You may, however, be asked to present translations of any stamps during your interview. This situation is likely the one you came across in the forums. I do highly recommend you get any foreign language stamps translated by an certified translator.

EDIT: Translations do not expire therefore you can get them done anytime before the interview

Thank you. So they check the passports for your eligibility period during the interview? That must be what I read about. I'm new to the process and I feel like I'm missing something

In your application form if you have given IRCC permission to access your CBSA records they would check your entry/exit check prior to the interview from the cbsa system and may verify for any missing dates in the system against your claim by physically checking for the corresponding stamping on the passport.

If you have many stampings (non English) then there may be a possibility of them asking for a translation considering that they are unable to find the dates in the cbsa system but you claimed them in your application. You can take a translation beforehand or wait till the interview where you can ask if your case is all clear for the grant of citizenship as and when the officer asks for the translation of the stamps as it is an optional procedure that the officer might go for.
