Confusion in selection of SDS or Non SDS

My IELTs score got expired, but I got admitted to my course before expiry. Could I apply for study permit with my expired score, if so could I place my file under non-sds category. Please advise on this.

you cant apply from canada through sds you will have apply through the general process

unless applying through sds cic has no requirement for IELTS if you have admission in a DLI you can apply through non-sds regardless of your IELTS is expired or not

While i am asked for a question "have you taken IELTS and is it less than 2years old? in the tool. Should I choose "no" based on my expired test score?
Also could I attach the expired test report on client information section.
Kindly guide me on this.

Yep you have tk select no but make sure you mention that in your SOP that my IELTS is expired but my university has already accepted it wont be problem

In normal times sds is faster not easier but right now going for non-sds is a better option

chances are very low because you have 5 in one module. try to take the exam again then put visa.

5.5 in each module is very low if you can try to find a uni that accepts those scores you might have a chance

I have applied to a university in canada(applied on April 2020) for winter 2021 but the university mailed me( september 2020) that they have deferred my application to sep 2021.Meanwhile, my IELTS got expired in November. My doubt is should I have to write IELTS again if I apply under NON SDS Category.

can anyone guide me in this regard?
