Yes technically you can apply/get a study permit while holding a PGWP, though not sure why anyone would.
Based on what you said to me it look like Eligibility and Criminality are passed and Security is not initiated. It seems consistent with all previous answers (the last one is just a generic "we are working on it"). No apparent progress, but that seems to be the stage that a lot of people are stuck at.
Unfortunately, not yet. I hope I will receive it by the end of Friday as I saw someone ordered it on the same day (Sep 30) and got it yesterday morning.
What is the point of placing another GCMS order? It will not help or speed up the processing of your file. At this point the only consequence will be longer waiting times for everyone as they will have one more note to process.
I am hearing from other groups that CIC is testing some portal for the next steps of all candidates who will have all steps completed and approved. Hold tight for any update.
Well, that's literally the only thing I can do. I have called them every week / 2 weeks for movement. I have to admit that I am not patient enough as I urgently need my status for next step.
I understand that, it is frustrating but there are a lot of people in the same situation ( I myself have a job offer pending on PR approval). If we all ask notes multiple times, no one will get them in a reasonable timeframe.
