I got an email stating that they have been approved to be on the list and that they are waiting to be officially placed on the list. Currently they have not been placed on the list just yet.
Could you show us this email ?

I sent them a message on Twitter
Following is their response

Hello Waqar,

Fanshawe has received provincial government approval for its COVID-19 Readiness Plan and is waiting to be added to the official list by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). We expect this to happen in mid-November. To avoid any travel issues, please do not make arrangements until Fanshawe College appears on the list.

For more information, and to book Arrival Services, please visit the following page:https://bit.ly/2LtLZsr

so guys please wait for mid november now

i get what you’re saying but it does sound like you may be unfamiliar with schools in the America’s. I understand your frustration but all 80% of classes are online due to the pandemic where as big schools across the province have opted to defer programs which alters your chances of staying in Canada when you’re done. Your problem is not with Fanshawe it’s with immigration services so you should reach out and express your concerns. Fanshawe is by far one of the cheapest colleges I’ve encountered on this side
I am not familiar with the way how colleges operate in the Americas. No, that's all good and fine man, but if I ask for a refund right now they are going to get a hefty chunk out of the money I paid for no reason whatsoever. I do have issues with the immigration services and with fanshawe as well. I understand the fact that the college wants to play safe as well as the country. But students like me from much poorer countries are spending waaaay more than the natives do for a chance to experience Canada as well. The fact that the college could easily turn any course it wants in to a hybrid course and let the student come to Canada and the fact that fanshawe chose not to do it doesn't sit well with most of the international students I bet.

So they're approved, not updated on the list officially, whereas some Universtiies and Colleges got a notice to amend their readiness plan and re-submit and some are waiting for approval, The good news is, IRCC will still process our applications even if the DLI is not on the list, not on priority but atleast better than doing nothing at all. Hoping Fanshawe makes it to the list on 17th November otherwise Jan Intake is doomed

9 days to go, If it has been approved from provincial government then I wish our application are being processed on priority but decisions are obviously on hold as long as the list is not updated.

Dear Student,

Good news!

Fanshawe's COVID-19 Readiness Plan is approved by the Ontario government and will appear on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) list on November 17, 2020.

When Fanshawe's name appears on the published list, international students with approved Study Permits or letters of introduction showing approval for a Study Permit are allowed to travel to Canada.
Just got this email from fanshawe
