So this means your original score without French was 462 and additional 42 points made it 504 and with recent change, another 20 points made it 524
You see jrossi's analysis. He would have been above 471 even if there was no French update. Any bilingual wouldn't have needed the added points to get ITA, ordinarily.
Just those that will get effect are those with TEF and no IELTS, which are very few.
So the new French policy won't have much effect on cut offs immediately.
Only reason today's cut off can increase is the one week delay, and it will be a marginal increase. I am guessing 471-473.
I’m cheering for everyone tbh, I really hope they keep giving as many invites as they did in the last draw. This way it will keep the cut-off score as low as possible.with this score, you really should be giving us support.
It’s already 1.07 PM UCT ! It should not go beyond this if draw is planned for today basis past trends !
The French policy will only have an effect next year In my opinion. People will need time to learn French and take the exam.
Most French native speakers are also often more interested in Quebec so I don’t think there will be a huge difference.
Honestly I don't see it's happening today as the ministerial announcement happened on 27th October but they wrote on website 20th. So considering the former case, it might happen next Wednesday only.
