I received the passport request letter with my UCI, but my dependent child (below 18 years) does not have her UCI/name mentioned anywhere in it. Now, the vfs says, they can pick only my passport and cannot take my childs passport as her UCI is not mentioned in the letter. Please help!!!

There are several people having same issue, including me. We have sent email to embassy and raised webform. Also tweeted them. No resolution yet.

how long have you been trying to contact them?
I received PPR Oct 31, 2020 with my UCI. I thought one letter covers the spouse and accompanying dependents. but the vfs customer support says he does not have details of my dependent i.e, UCI in their system and hence he wont pickup childs passport.

Same 31st ppr..vfs call centre guys only got a list and it seems they are not aware of dependents under same application.

So are you planning to send in only principal applicant's passport?

I have been trying to contact NDVO via call since morning, but no response.

I don't think there is ever 2 ppr letters for pa and dependent separately. It is just confusion at vfs end. I won't be sending single passport. We need to send it together.

My passport pickup is tomorrow. I will send in both passports. But if he denies to pickup childs, I dont know how to coordinate with vfs and NDVO on this.

They clearly mentioned that they will only pick passport which is on list. But you can try.

Further, we would like to inform you that currently, we can make a pickup request only for those applicants whose name was mentioned in the list released by the High Commission of Canada, Further, as the dependent name was not on the list so we would request you to coordinate with the High Commission of Canada for more details.
 
They clearly mentioned that they will only pick passport which is on list. But you can try.

You must print this email confirmation and submit it along with your passport. Passports received by VFS that do not include this unique email confirmation will be returned at your own expense without being processed.

When is your pickup scheduled?

Just for further information, this is the email I received today after payment to VFS. Its clear, VFS will pickup passports only whose UCI is mentioned. I will send mine tomorrow, bcoz they mentioned a 30 day timeline for receiving and wait for dependent's. Until then, I hope we receive a clarification.

The AWB number must be provided to the Blue Dart pick-up staff on the date of pickup.

Kindly include the following in the packages:

  1. Print the attached forms, fill & sign them and include it in the applicant’s package.
    • SMS/Courier return form(Fill this only if you have paid in advance for availing of this service)
    • Consent form from all adult applicants (18+)
  2. Passport transmission letter for all applicants for whom service has been booked & paid for.
  3. Only Current and Valid passport for all applicants for whom service has been booked & paid for.
Note:

  1. Please do not send any paper applications and supporting documents using this service. The service as mentioned on the website is a Courier Pick up of Passport Submission for Online Lodged applications, hence we are not in a position to process paper applications through this service.
  2. The courier provider will only pick up sealed packages and the accuracy of the documents, the condition of the passports, and the payment of correct charges remain on the Applicant.
  3. In the case of a family, a separate AWB will be created for each Applicant and thus the Applicant will need to create a separate package for each Applicant with all the required documents.
  4. The courier provider will pick up the package between 9 AM to 6 PM Monday to Saturday and will only give two attempts for pickup.
  5. You are requested to include the mandatory form (Consent & Courier form) in the docket. In case they are missing then the documents will be sent back to you and you will have to make the payment again for the service.

then no need to worry you are fine. They would have automatically extended without informing. I believe they made this exception due to covid as our files got stuck for 7 months due to the pandemic and it would bw too much for them to monitor thousands of medicals if they had to be redone. Too much paperwork, so they decided to extend if file was in good standing order.
What does it shows under gckey? My wife’s medical expired on august 2, earlier it was medical is expired, but now I get is She don’t need medical, if this changes we will be informed but there’s no mentions of medical extension in gcms notes, and I got info through MP Office last week, they said they haven’t decided yet if they need medical exam or will extend it and told me there may be an update before mid November( due date 15 November on gcms notes).

What you did on September 28 2020 - I have done in March 1st 2020 and still NOTHING. This is becoming extremely frustrating, I have a feeling that whoever is handling my stuff is just not doing his job.

The worst is that soon my Medical will expire, my police certificates will expire, my Criminal check (RCMP) will also expire.
For me there was more action closer to the expiry date of my medical. I think they will extend your medical. Fingers crossed. Hoping for positive response ASAP for your file.

I just received a letter from New delhi office regarding my file.

They are asking if we have any plan to have proper marriage with rituals and realtives.
If we have done already please provide pictures from both side and also post marriage pictures of outing.

Me and husband did a small ceremony without knowing our family. Our family doesn't support us because we are from different religions.
Our relationship is 7year long and I mentioned everything in the file and attched all the pictures we had together.
We went for our honeymoon in Maldives I also attched those pictures.
I am so worried what to do now I don't have anything else.
Please advice what should I do I haven't seen my husband it's been almost 2 year.
My file was showing 100% done but now this new problem.

Send messages along with the explanation as to why even if you have already. If you plan to do something in the future or not. Again explain. But conversations between now and then and an explanation of why you haven't seen each other since maybe. You just have to give them something to validate your relationship.

Even if you have statements from close friends or at least one family member who is aware of the situation. Good luck
