My parents are in Canada and application stuck in "in process " for both Sponsor and parents since Feb2020. No progress at all :(
On a positive note, at least your parents are with you. I desperately want my mum here with us. Although, they have zero community covid cases back home so perhaps I should be heading back there..! :)

My mom is here with me so I guess it’s not all in Canada parents are processing. PA side still says in process.

Can anyone confirm if CPC-M is mostly processing DM2 for applicants who are currently in Canada? if yes, it has become an unfair process?
looks like they are processing mine although my parents are not in Canada. Unfair or not...not much we can do here anyway, except for venting. :)

When I applied, I provide birth certificate, school certificates and college certificates. just in case. I would say send them what they ask. If you do not have then explain the reason.
Would sending the birth certificate again be enough?
I have a scan of the photocopy of the birth certificate, will that be an issue?
My voter Id has my dads name in Bengali, any idea how to get it translated?
Also, I have a valid Bangladesh passport too that has my dads name on it, could I send them that as well ?

Hello everyone,
I applied to sponsor my parents on February 2019, they passed the medical on February 2020.
Today I received and email saying "in order to finalize your application you must provide your address"
My application is been processed in Mississauga but my parents are not in Canada right now.

What does this mean, will they ask for the passport soon, will the application be sent back home?

My parents are coming back to Canada next month.

Thank you, I appreciate your help and good luck to everyone.

Stay safe.
what was your medical pass date?

I would say send some educational certificate too. If you don't have their name on that then just send what you have with explanation. I am not aware of translation services in Canada.

I have seen people reaching out to local MP to expedite the process of CPR in case parents are here in Canada. Can somebody please explain what is local MP and how can we reach out to them ?

Hi guys i need your help regarding the minimum income cutoff for parents sponsorship so i know i need to show $40000 for 2020 to be eligible for this program but right now im on working sharing means i work for few days and get rest of money from EI so i think I will reach $40000 if i add both EI and my work payment .
So my question is that does cra count EI Payments as income ?
2nd question is that if i put some money in RRSP account my net income will come to less than cut off income so do they need our gross or net income to be eligible for this prog?
Thanks guys

Hi, my parents did their medical last week and today when I logged into CIC, I saw this message "November 4, 2020 The results of your medical examination are favorable." Does it mean they pass the medical exam?

MP is a Member of Parliament, representing your constituency. Find your MP from this link https://www.ourcommons.ca/Members/en , just enter your postal code and find their contact details. Also, note CIC is not obliged to expedite or action requests made by an MP, it is up to their discretion. However, it won't harm contacting MP. I contacted a couple of times and CIC did nothing. Involving an MP didn't help for me, maybe it will for you.
