I'm outland FSW express entry. I submitted all docs end of Aug 2020. Medical passed Sept 13. I had a ghost update beginning of October, and now this week I had two ghost updates..... any idea what it is?

You won’t need to prove your employment to IRCC. Just raise CSE and inform them of your new job and they will update your personal history in your profile.

Hi Guys, I had a ghost update without email last Friday 30 Oct, for both PR and SOWP. I hope I am gonna receive good news tomorrow or next week! I didn't check my profile that much after 1 Oct, when they passed our Medicals and Biometrics. But from the status we have in our BG we are in IP2 since I don't know when. My wife also applied for a SOWP but the status of that application is still on Fake IP2, so not yet started. Last time I spoke with an agent, a couple of weeks ago, the application should be processing in Ankara Canadian Embassy, but not sure about that.

18-Sep-2020 - raised 2nd webform to clarify the situation of the Biometrics. Received reply on 29-Sep-2020 saying: "We verified the information on file and are pleased to confirm that the biometrics were received by the responsible office." However, the portal continued to say "We have not received your fingerprints. Check your biometrics request message below for details."
02-Oct-2020 - raised 3rd webform to clarify the situation of the Biometrics. Received reply on 15-Oct-2020 saying: "We verified the information on file and can confirm that the biometrics were received by the responsible office. In addition, we are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with the application. Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed. I really want to understand why the portal is showing something while the webforms confirm the exact opposite. I asked several times for the Biometrics section to be updated in MyCIC portal according to the multiple confirmations received via webforms (I have provided evidence supporting my request with each webform enquiry), since I fear that if the information displayed in the Biometrics section of the portal is not corrected accordingly, this could result in my PR application being rejected for missing the Biometrics submission deadline, despite having already submitted everything that was required from my side for the Biometrics more than 2 months ago and having received several webform confirmations.

I would really appreciate it if anyone could share their thoughts on this or advise if there's anyone else in a similar situation (having incorrect info displayed in the portal, despite contacting CIC) and what would be the best approach to resolve these discrepancies, since it seems that the webforms are not very useful in such situation.

This is amazing. Looks like you will be getting your PPR soon. I think I only received a ghost update only once - A day after my medical was passed. I however read somewhere that most people with all fees paid upfront will usually not get updates. Not sure how true this is.

thank you, I hope it’s PPR next. First GU I got was for me to pay RPRF on Oct 6. Subsequent ones were on Oct 28, Oct 30 and now, today.

Yes, the PPR email did mention that the purpose of COPR issuance is for applicants to be ready for travelling when the restrictions are lifted. But until then, we won't be able to travel.

don't worry it's normal i submitted biometrics on 1st of september & had the same issue & also raised webforms & received the same answers as yours, it was only reflected as completed last week.
