Hi everyone
Thanks you all for sharing information.
I just got my gcms notes today. I m not fully understand about all the parts of it. But as I can see in the assessment page 2 -3, criminality and security has not started yet. Once medical passed and now still in review. Can you please @legalfalcon tell what I can expect now. Which part I have to go through for better understanding the application stages.
As my AOR is November 8th 2019. Federal skilled trade program. I have been getting the same information for last 8-9 months, whenever I call IRCC. Same thing I found in my notes. Nothing changed..

Can you please tell me when did you order the gcms notes? It appears that there is delay in receiving gcms notes as well these days

Three simple steps to read your GCMS notes:

1. Verify that they are your notes by checking your application number, your name and date of birth on page 1.

2. See page 2 for the assessments. This is the overview of your application stages. To read on stages, see https://bit.ly/35xhKw6

3. Then flip to the last 3-5 pages, this is where the notes entered by the immigration officers are and will provide you with the details.

Once done, you will have a clear grip of your application and then you can read in details about the assessments and calculations and the incoming and outgoing documents which will be in the middle of your notes.


Check your note if it is by an officer or an assistant to an analyst. You can compare it with my previous post at #2,521

If your eligibility has an officer's note, then it is passed.

On immitracker, I saw a guy from Singapore and 2 others from the US had their PPR, otherwise no, seems like they are slowing down again

Is there anyone else who is with AOR November 2019. But security and criminality not started yet.
As it will be one year of AOR next week but not any updates.
As per notes once my medical passed now again in review. Don’t know what is going on
Not any recent activity after 24th January 2020
What should I expect?

Congratulations!!

All COPR will have ‘Not Valid for travel’ written on it as COPR by itself cannot be used to travel. You will need a visa and passport.

If you cannot travel before 22/12/2020, then you can inform IRCC and seek extension. Send this in November.

If i get my VISA stamped passport by next week and my medical valid till Dec. 12, will i be allowed to travel to Canada permanently before Dec. 12th? Am i required to sumbit a web form informing IRCC that i am ready to travel in order to get Authority to Travel/Land?

I’ve a concern; so, my friend submitted her application yesterday but she just remembered now that she didn’t add her WES report and IELTS result to the file she uploaded for Education ‍

What can she do?

She can raise a CSE and attach both documents to the CSE. It’s not a big deal. I did the same for IELTS

What can she do?

WES and IELTS reports doe not have to be added. Only the report numbers have to be entered.

• Where an ECA has been obtained, the applicant must provide the ECA reference number in their e-APR for online validation directly from the issuing organization.
  • A scanned copy of the ECA is not required when submitting the e-APR but may be requested by IRCC at a later date.
  • Applicants are instructed to indicate that their education was completed by correspondence by typing in brackets {by correspondence} on the same line as the education institution name found in the Education Background Information tab of GCMS. The discretion remains with the officer to decide if a police certificate is required for the country of the education institution
