If any of you is outland applicant, can you please tell me what is the equivalent of AIP for outland?

CPC-Ottawa already started sending DM, and we all outland Indian applicants still waiting for CPC-M to give us a reason to smile. :( So frustrating.

It's now been 3 months since CPC-M received the CSQ and not a peep yet. New GCMS notes should be coming in the near future for what those are worth. Maybe some day someone will open our file again.

Pre Arrival Letter or PAL
Is it a letter that states that the medical, criminal and security checks still needs to be verified before a decision is made?

No its a letter that says that the applicant has been found eligible to come to Canada and gives links to free immmigrant services inside Canada. Which means its like an Approved in Principle equivalent of an inland apps. So after receiving a PAL, you know that you are eligibile to come to Canada in principle, pending completion of your security check.

It's simply Mississauga being slow, doesn't matter where you're from. I'm from US, my app is stuck there.
CPC-M is near Toronto which is basically Covid-central for Canada.

Nothing to do with covid or the regional location of the CPC. A lot of inland applications are processed at CPC-M within the 12 months processing period. Is it because there were less covid cases in the area? Completely unrelated.

The new CPC Ottawa is processing cases quickly- CPC-M used to be quick.

I was sent to CPC-M in Mach as well. I did my Medical in June and my account still shows that I need to take one. The only good thing is that I wrote to IRCC using the webform and they eventually confirmed that my Medical results were received.

According to the IRCC website, CPC-M is for inland sponsorship application (SCLPC) but I see many outland applications transferred there this year. I wonder what is the reason for so many outland applications to be transferred to inland IRCC offices. It seems to have started around Feb 2020. Are you applications inland or outland? Anyway, one or the other, we all wish for processing without delays.
