It varies some persons have gotten AIP in a few days, some a few weeks and some a month or 2 or even longer. I submitted additional proof Oct 9 via webform received email confirming receipt Oct 22 and gc key updated saying additional docs received and today Oct 26 I received a different email saying they received my documents and gc key updated saying we are reviewing the docs you submitted. Not sure how long before they make a decision. NB. Some persons say they don't receive any updates nor does their gc key update after submitting additional proofHello everybody, i submitted our proof of relationship on oct,22th last Thursday anyone knows how long will take ?
Thx!
You will receive an email and should see the decision in your gc key soon maybe by tomorrowI went on ECAS today and saw that it says decision made..but there's no update on my Gkey account and I haven't gotten any email or anything yet. Am I supposed to get something regarding what the final decision is soon?
I heard they are working hard now during COVID-19 it’s take them longer. I did on my own researched they said SA and proof of relationship people received last step before the decision made so hopefully we’ll see positive updates everybody. It varies some persons have gotten AIP in a few days, some a few weeks and some a month or 2 or even longer. ahhhh, that's bad that they take so long to process your application... good luck to you!I received a request to submit RCMP fingerprints August 7th and I sent the prints August 8th. I emailed RCMP and they responded saying they sent the prints directly to IRCC on August 13th. I inquired through web form and IRCC responded they received the prints September 2nd. I called IRCC recently because I’ve passed the one year mark and they said that my file has not been updated yet with the prints and there’s a backlog so I’m assuming that they have my prints and my file has not been updated or looked at by an officer. Just waiting it out for now. It’s frustrating.. I noticed they’ve already started approving Dec 2019 apps. I’ve applied for GCMS notes and once received will be sending an email to the MP here to see what is causing the delay on our app.
Mississauga as wellI heard they are working hard now during COVID-19 it’s take them longer. I did on my own researched they said SA and proof of relationship people received last step before the decision made so hopefully we’ll see positive updates everybody.
My application processing on Mississauga office how about you ?
Thank you
You should receive an email soon and and message in your gc key accountMy ecas status changed to Decision Made for both Sponsor and Applicant. But CIC account still shows in progress. Is it normal. ?
Please advise
Just an update! I just received my GCMS notes today. (October 16 inland applicant with no SA and AIP) It seems that my back ground check has passed but the criminality stage is in process and they received my RCMP prints already just waiting to be reviewed. What I find strange is that my husband (sponsor) eligibility has not started yet. it was 63 pages long and it was mostly notes on my side of the application. I spoke to IRCC today and they were very helpful and they mentioned that I should expect something in the next 1 or 2 months. The agent mentioned something about me getting a biometrics only because she sees my criminality check in progress but on the the GCMS it says that I’m exempt.ahhhh, that's bad that they take so long to process your application... good luck to you!
Please let us know when you have more updates!
All inland applications are processed in CPC-M. If they are transferred, it would be in a IRCC office in Canada (e.g. Vancouver office, for files involving criminal inadmissibility).Mississauga as well
SA for inland applicants (or their sponsor I should say) is usually added by the officer in GCMS towards the end of the process, whereas for outland application, it's usually done in the beginning of the process, before the file is transferred to the corresponding VO.Just an update! You don't. You will receive it via your gc key(if you have an account) if not you receive it by mail. However if you have a representative/lawyer it goes to them.Hi all, how do you know if a COPR has been issued by looking at ECAS?
