Any approval from Edmonton or Ottawa office? SDS

Mine hasn't updated since the AIP in September and I've been waiting since February. I'm starting to regret this SDS route when general applications are getting approvals before us

If he just received, very small chances it might be from Ottawa because work time has just started there. Edmonton, No.

At the moment I'm writing this message, it's 7:35 AM in Edmonton. Probably your office would've transferred. All the SDS applications are first processed in Edmonton and then transferred to the relevant office for further processing. In my case, it went from Edmonton to Abu Dhabi.
Check the BVL/PPR letter they might have written on it.
Congrats on your approval. Positive sign after such a long waiting. When did you apply and receive AIP?

They are first transferred to Ottawa from Edmonton and at Ottawa's discretion, they either complete the application in Ottawa or forward to designated embassy which is then transferred back to Ottawa.
