Hi all,
I recieved my PPR email on the 15th.
Super happy about it, but I'm troubled by the fact that my online account hasn't been updated.
I am from a visa exempt country and am supposed to upload the documents online but there is no option to do so. I am wondering if anyone else has the same issue?

I have uploaded the docs via web form and sent a hard copy along with my photos by mail to my local visa office. I hope that will be the right thing to do.

Also our medicals run out in February, so I hope travel restrictions are lifted soon...

Perhaps if anyone gets their COPR back they could post in here. I'm curious to know what's said about travelling and also if it will arrive by mail, email or just through our online accounts?

Not seeing any updates in the profile even after receiving the PPR is expected. See the below about the PPR step mention in the process overview by @andy108 in https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/may-2020-aor-join-here.686609/post-8604173

"PPR - Passport request: IRCC sends "Ready for visa" e-mail asking you to submit your documents to your visa office so they can issue your CoPR and entry visa if applicable. A PPR is announced only by email, and there may be no changes made directly to the profile. If you are worried you might miss it, you can whitelist the email domain @cic.gc.ca to ensure the email comes straight to your inbox."

My sister in law in the UAE received her COPR by email.

She said that COPR document received on email is valid until next year August (i.e. until the time the medicals have been extended).

Apparently only can travel if choosing to move permanently (i.e. officially) and soft landing is not allowed for now.

Thanks, it's good to see that. It does seem odd though that no changes would be made to our account.
I would have expected there to be a new place to upload the requested documents.

I'm guessing that she has family in Canada and is exempt from restrictions? Or is it a COPR extension from before March 18th?

I think unless you are exempt you still can't travel even if it's to settle permanently :(

Have you managed to upload your passport copies and letter?

I am thinking that they must be planning to make COPR holders exempt from restrictions or be planning to extend our medicals...

I agree. It is really odd that such important step is not shown in the portal.

yes, her sister is my wife so she does have family here but she can't move here unless she wants to settle down permanently. So she can visit but not come for getting PR paperwork done :p

Nope... Figuring out how to upload.
Think I will send them by webform and email to LDNimmigration@....
Also I will add them to the enveloppe with my photographs.

Or do you have better solution?

Until now I was under the impression that only inland applicants get CoPR by email and outlanders need to send their passport. It is interesting to see this.

I sent my photos/documents with tracking and apparently they arrived yesterday.
I guess now it's just a waiting game again. I hear that London visa office is slow but hopefully we will receive COPR within a month.

@Wotsit @legalfalcon
I have a few more questions.

A photocopy of our passports and updated Appendix A should be updated by webform.... We just did that.
Our photographs (2 of each applicant) should be sended by mail/courier.
Do we have to add a return envelope too? (and if YES, do we have to self-adress it and stamp/pre-pay it??)

Do we receive our CoPR in our email or by mail/courier? And what about our photographs?

Thanks for your time and help!
Stay safe
