also, were you requested a detailed in depth resume for your her a second time?
when did she do her medical?
My parents did their medical last November and I just received a letter from them yesterday asking for a detailed resume for my dad and their current address and how long they intend to stay

My MIL has been with us in Canada even before we applied. When we filled the application, we used our address in Canada for as her home and mail address.
We were requested normal resume. We did not have any 2nd request for in-depth one.
For her medical, we did it in Feb 2020, also in Canada.

Before the ghost update in early October and the change of background check to “in process” was the status of background “not applicable”?

I think it was something like "Background not start yet. We will inform you when we start background check."

I have updated my address via webform. I am a representative of my parents' PR application.

However, I received a letter to submit the latest address and phone number details of my parents. My mother is currently on a visitor visa in Toronto and my father is in India. What would be the best way to provide the latest address and phone number details to cic?

My mother's current address is not her residential address (she is on a visitor visa) and she has also received a biometrics request at the same time. We received these requests on Sep 26th.

Please advise!

The letter should state how you can provide that information.

Biometrics exemption for permanent residence applicants who have given biometrics within the last 10 years
As a temporary measure, you’re exempt from giving biometrics if you have both of the following:

• already applied or are applying for permanent residence
• given your biometrics within the last 10 years

Today received call from service canada to book an appointment for biometrics for my father. They landed on October 11 in canada . They have been waiting since March 2020 for their biometrics in India as vfs were closed there.

Congratulations! This is amazing! So your parents landed and became permanent residents, then after, you were called and given an appointment for them to have biometrics done? If this is the case, this is very interesting that they would ask for this after they've already become permanent residents.

They didn’t get Pr yet. They r on super visa. Hopefully hear some good news after biometrics has been done.
