By the time they realise what cluster duck they have created, IRCC will find it impossible to resolve the million different situations they are creating. Medical for some, new PRV for some, ETA for someone else, and nothing for the majority. They are completely confused and have made our lives more more more complicated.
Completely True !!! You know what .... The true email responses I have been getting is pathetic!! They literally forgot my application and was mentioning somebody else was working on my application and left it half-way..They also said my application is not in COPR queue (I was like WHAT!!!) Does it sound good after paying so much time and money for this process and to get this type of response... Even the re-med request is received only after a constant push from my side. Dont know what else we need to do.....

Is this taken as a good sign or a bad? Is there any way IRCC can deny can application once it has already been approved?
Im taking it as a good sign...that means they are looking at your file

Always avoid air india or any other state run airlines..

In addition to emailing people, raise webform too.. this was it'll get logged in system and would help us process further..

Has air india agreed to refund ur ticket?
Hey
Please may you let me know what other airline options do we have ? Air India seemed to be like the only ones allowing us to board. Most other airlines only allow PR’s and citizens

DENIED BOARDING ON AIR INDIA, EVEN WITH AN AUTHORISATION LETTER.

Yes guys, I don't know whether this happened with anyone else also or not, As I had posted earlier, I have an expired COPR issued before March 18th and I got a re-medical request in September end(I posted end).My old COPR details were removed and file was showing in process. I passed my medicals in October first week and they were showing passed in just 4 days time. I got an Authorisation letter to travel on October 14, with new COPR details and instructions to travel. However there was no update in my Gckey account about new COPR. Due to urgency I booked a ticket in evening with AIR INDIA, for October 18 morning flight.
I reached 5 hours before flight. First had to wait two hours in check in lane. After checking my Authorisation letter, Air India executive told me that, we can't board flight and they have to take some ASCI approval.
They sent me to a person named ROHIT GIRI on a separate counter, After waiting there for 1 hour, he called on some Canadian number to take permission. However, they denied him to allow us to board, stating this as SIMPLE PIECE OF PAPER and our visa was still showing expired in their records..
I showed him, that it's mentioned that we just need to show this letter as a proof along with our Original COPR and Visa. After my repeated requests, he called again after 30 mins, but to no use. Air India person told me to contact Embassy for next process.
I am still in shock due to this. Moreover AIR INDIA is showing update of NO SHOW in my PNR. I don't know where the problem lies, but few other persons were also denied boarding yesterday by AIR INDIA. I will be writing emails to Delhi High Commission and Air India regarding this today and update you further.
This is absolutely horrible!! When is your extension valid till ?
Please keep us updated

My ticket booking was through Ease my trip, I have to check with them. Meanwhile I am still so confused that even after getting an authorisation letter from CPC Ottawa, why I have been denied boarding, whereas many people travelled with similar letter. Once I am able to assess the reasons, then only I can progress further.

Even I was looking to book Air Canada, but due to huge price difference (almost double) on October 18, I booked Air India. I am not sure that even Air Canada will allow me, because I heard even they are also denying some persons to board. I don't know whether it is a goof up on the part of Airlines or IRCC. Will now wait for monday.

Yes, after few sleepless nights waiting for an authorisation, this was the worst thing to happen. Shocking part is that Air India person told me that after making a call to ASCI, they have been able to send few people with an authorisation and deny others. So it's a lottery system.

@whyCorona This is what I was talking about in another reply. Authorization letter is valid until October 31st and person is being denied boarding. By the time they'll be aware of these letters, it will expire.

This is outrageous. What's the logic behind allowing some and denying others?

I'm exactly in the same situation. Authorization letter issued by Ottawa on October 1, 2020.From my GCKey account previously issued CoPR/PRV numbers got removed. Status changed from Approved to Submitted. in AL, new CoPR/PRV document numbers and extended validity dates are mentioned. No reply to my webforms or email from IRCC. Since Oct 1, 2020 I'm waiting. AL is valid till Dec 2, 2020 and I wish to travel within next 2 weeks. I'm worried that airlines won't allow boarding since my extension dates and new document numbers are not yet updated (electronically) in IRCC system
