Update Singapore @robertp
June 10,2019
Today I received a letter saying my application is approved. And I have to confirm if I can travel by the expired of medicals which is Feb 21,2020 as the application falls into exceptions. Then passport letter will be issue.
----
Additional note this also reminds dependants included should travel same time. In this case my sister is over 22 yrs old. So basically all dependants included can travel.

Marriage certificates were never made in India in 80’s . You can create a affidavit for it . Birth certificates are asked as an additional document and not a primary one.
Thanks for your reply, so what ducoments will suffice for non availablity of my birth certificate as I sponsor my parents for pgp 2020 if invited.

Your parents can go to the marriage registerar office and get it now. Few formalities are required and it can be done. Marriage certificate is must. It may take 1-7 days in India depends on the city.

Indian High Commission will issue birth and marriage certificates. Please check with them.
Thanks for your reply but my birth certificate is non-available as it was never registered at the time of my birth...

Hello friends, can anybody tell me what is the best place to reach out to get answers to questions about our process - LVO (Warsaw) directly or CIC phone #? we have already used webform option and still have questions as they give us only general answers. And as I ve seen earlier our local MP can help in some way with the process? is that true?

You can use a webform to inquire. MP can request processing status updates directly from IRCC Ottawa office but they really don't have any authority or Influence over application processing such as expedite or turnover decisions.

Affidavit is not accepted as a proof of relationship. I also did not had a marriage certificate for my parents and I attached an affidavit. Now, I got an email from CIC asking for Voter card for my parents with note that Affidavit is not accepted as a proof of relationship.

In India, your parents can register their marriage now. Processing time is like 10-15 days.
Thanks

We're all still within the 12-24 month period so there's not much the MP can do. When we sent our applications in, we knew it could take up to 2 years to process.
