Hi Friends,
I'm an Independent contractor and have a registered company in which I'm the only employee. I worked in IT and my agency pay to my Company (Incorporated) directly instead of me.The personal income(150 in T4) I took from my company is less and not meeting MNI.

Can I show both Personal and Business income together to meet the MNI criteria? That means line 150 from T4 + line 300 from T2?
Thanks in advance.
only personal NOA

No. Only personal tax returns are accepted. You cannot include your business income.

You should increase the amount of income you are paying yourself and claiming in your personal tax return so that you can qualify to sponsor your parents in the future.

hello friends, if anybody can help... my question is as below,.....
I am eligible to apply for PGP 2020, HOPEFULLY if I get invited I have following concerns:
1) I do not have my birth certificate( never issued, even during my PR application in 2015 I had submitted non-availability of birth certificate at that time, I landed as PR in 2016), will that be a problem as birth certificate will be required to prove my relationship with my parents in case I get invited for PGP 2020. What are my options/ what documents will suffice?
2) my parents does not have marriage certificate( were married in 1980, never got one). will that cause any issue as marriage certificate will be required to prove principal applicant's relationship with dependents( wife).
P.S.-- My parents visited Canada twice on visitor visa

GUIDE PLEASE... THANKS

Hi guys, i got married this year 2020 and my current family size is 4. For 2018,2019 when i was single my family size is 3. So my understanding is i have to match income Of fam size 3 for 2018,2019 and income of family size 4 for 2020. Is this correct?

Quick question:
For sponsoring parents with dependent children, do I need to put names and date of birth of dependent children as well?
Or only Parents names and their dates of birth?

My sister is planing to sponsor our parents and my brother in law will be the co-signer. Their combined income is more than enough to sponsor 6 people.

If my brother inlaw is the co-signer, can he sponsor his parents as well in a different application indicating my sister as cosigner in his application? Or does he have to wait until next year?

Both can put EOI - and both can sponsor at the same time too if they are selected but they need to manage income requirements like below

Your sister immediate family unit + his parents (any dependents) + her parents (any dependents)

I believe they need to mention in both applications this number too (not 100% sure though, others can correct me here)

Hi guys,
I have a question regarding previous sponsorship. I sponsored my wife 2 years ago and I still have her undertaking. She will counted I my fa gm ily size for us 2 and my parents additional 2 with total family size of 4. As she is already included for family income. Should I still answer the question as 1 person sponsored in past? Will it impact my family size income?

So they will be submitting 2 different EOI co-signing each other application for 4 people. But when they receive invitation they will be responsible for sponsoring 6 people including themselves. Am I correct here?

Hi All, I will be filling up the interest form once its open for 2020 to sponsor my widowed mother (no dependent children). I got married last year and had a baby earlier this year so looking at required income thresholds i am eligible (without including my wife as co-signer) and my job is quite stable as well:
2018 - 2 persons : my and my mother,
2019 - 3 persons that includes me, my wife, and my mother,
2020 - 4 persons that includes me, my wife, my mother, my son)

But given all uncertainty around jobs due to covid, would it be better to include my wife as cosigner as well (even though she is still on mat leave. we had our baby in march this year) so that even if i lose job due to any reason next year then my application isn't rejected due to insufficient income. Please advise.

To sponsor, you need to have 3 NOA's from CRA. This is to show that you paid taxes to Canada for 3 years, not just to any other country.
but her combined income would meet the requirement. Her husband have income in all the years. So she can apply.

I meet the income requirements and I am single

It's 2 applications. You cannot apply for both your mother and your grandparents in a single application.

But I am not sure if you can submit 2 interest to sponsor forms. Others who look into this can help.
