MyCIC shows the exact date of medical pass and I think that is relevant to expiry of PR visa. Ecas only states Medical Received without date.
Thank you for replying.

I heard before that the medical exam result is only valid for 12 months, but I am not sure if it counts from the day medical exam was done or the day the medical exam passed.

MyCIC did show the medical passed in March 2020. I wonder if it is valid until March 2021. Meanwhile, my mom didn't have an additional test, but as a spouse, her medical passed date is the same as the PA. It doesn't make sense that her medical exam result can be valid for 16 months just because the PA conduct addition tests.

Of course, if there is no expiry on medical exam result, that will be perfect.

Hi all, I have a very dumb question. I sponsored my parents last year and my sponsorship is still under process. No decision has been made yet. Do you think that I can apply for pgp 2020, or would it pose a problem? Your views please
You can not sponsor them again

You can be a cosigner for your in-laws if that's what you were asking?

Normally Medical will be valid for one year from the date of passing. In this case may be good until March 2021.

Yes it will be valid for longer. Medical expiry for application is same as PA medical expiry. same in my case, dad has to go for additional test.

Thank you for answering. I thought to apply for my parents again
no you cannot do that. Any reason why you want to apply again? Did you not meet the income requirement? If you applied in 2019, your application would be half way done.... why?

Hi all

thank you in advance for your input

question is regarding sponsoring my mother to Canada on PR, wife being co signed

1. we are in receipt of child care subsidy. Does this make application ineligible?
2. Wife sponsored me and my daughter 4 years ago. Because she already sponsored in the last 5 years, does this make application ineligible?

Mae are meeting all income requirements

Thanks in advanxe
