I have sponsored my mother (from India)

I dont have birth certificate, so I submitted passport that clearly states Mothers name.

But IRCC does not accept this. They have now asked for School records (SSC certificate), aadhaar card, voters ID.

I dont have voters ID but

I DO HAVE School records (SSC certificate), aadhaar card. But at the time I got these, mothers name was not mentioned. For example, when I passed SSC, mothers name was not on the certificate.

So I will submit but these are not useful documents to prove relationship.

Anyone facing this problem. Can we write a letter to explain.

I have heard an affidavit works, but also a DNA test.

Hi guys, I have a general question about the financial eligibility to sponsor my mother.
Do we have prove through notice of assessment for EACH of the previous three years that we earned the minimum income?
Or is there an exception to that?

In my case, notice of assessment of 2017, and 2018 were 10,000 CAD each
but in 2019 it was 80,000 CAD. I am taking 2017, 2018, and 2019 notice of assessments as I dont have it yet for 2020.

if this is for the 2020 sponsorship process this is not the right thread for it. Please ask your question in the 2020 sponsorship thread.

I completed DM2 on March 12. But since then, there has been no news and no PPR has been received until now. Is anyone the same as me?
Hello @serious_cheese @robertp @YULIA-2016

Though this is old post , but is it kind of update pending in tracker ?
DM2 didn't mean decision made for PA , currently showing as Application received in Column "L" at line 351

or Tracker is up to date ?

I'm here to provide an update. Yesterday I said I received a phone call from immigration office agent to confirm if my parents are currently in Canada. I checked ECAS and IRCC website just now and found that ECAS status changed from "In process" to "Decision made". But IRCC hasn't gotten any updates yet.

I believe my case is DM2 now.

Hello all

My parents file were received on May 29, 2019. My local office is CPC-M. They have biometrics and medical done on November 2019 and since then there is no update. Today just now, I received a phone call from immigration office and asked me if my parents are currently in Canada. I told them yes.

The agent told me that's all she wants to know. Then I asked her how long will it take for my parents to complete the process and what else is required from me. She said she cannot give me a timeline now.

I'm just wondering the meaning of asking my parents current living status in Canada.

Good for you. The person calling you last time must be the case officer. Appears that they are expediting cases whose parents are in Canada.

Do you have exact date of DM2? Is it today? Is your information in the tracker?

Did you appply in 2019 PGP? The answer depends on a lot of things. family sizes, when did you apply ...etc.
But in general they don't do exception. Every year that's being assessed needs to meet minium income requirement for PGP.

I'm sure DM2 date is today because I also checked ECAS last night and it was still "In process".

I don't have my case recorded in the tracker.
