Immigration sent a letter requesting further medical information, see panel physician for details (Dec. 19, 2019). I responded that the panel physician said no further medical information had been requested (Dec. 20). Immigration said no letter was sent on Dec. 19, and "that the medical exam was not received by the responsible office yet" (Dec. 24). In January the panel physician realized he hadn't submitted all the medical documentation and did so. I wrote to ask for confirmation that it had been finally received (April 4). Immigration says "We have verified the information you provided. You will find more information related to your enquiry in the letter requesting further medical information that was mailed to you on December 24, 2019" (April 9).

I read "we have verified the information you provided" as meaning all documentation had been received, but given the delay I'm starting to doubt that.

I see that ECAS says "We sent you medical instructions on August 14, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us."

Using GC-key, I get current status = submitted, messages = none, and "We have requested a medical exam. We will send you a letter or email with details." It also says "We have received the additional documents you provided." I'm not sure if these "additional documents" are the complete medical documentation sent in April. If all the documentation had been received in April, would there be confirmation of that online?

Any wisdom (or reassurance!) you could offer would be much appreciated!

You should have followed up with the panel physician to double confirm that INDEED there is no furtherance test. Do immediately the below two things as many months passed:

1. Talk with the panel physician to check your file to see anything pending/any test incomplete
2. Send an inquiry via webform to clarify if anything is pending (mention the missing info issue by the panel physician)

I received the AOR dated 9th Dec 2019 that the application was received on 26-Jun-19. Since then I haven't received any updates. The status online is "Application Received".

The visa office is CPC Mississauga. My parents are currently in India.

Any information on what is going on with CIC Canada?

Hello everyone,
I am following this forum from almost a year, this is my first post. i got the updated schedule A request for my parents from CPC- Mississauga Today . biometric and medical already submitted in January this year, later they asked the document to show proof of relationship with sponsor in February 2020, no reply afterwards. got email today to submit Schedule a forms. at least they start reviewing applications.

When r ur parents coming. I have same situation. File is in New Delhi .Parents have super visa and they r coming in October 11.
If your parents r coming before that can u pls share experience what questions r being asked on airport?

hello everyone!!

here is my timeline please advise/help ?
  • CIC received my parents application for permanent residence on June 6, 2019
  • My parents did their BIOmetrics in January 2020.
  • i received email from London with file number that on August 14 that they star processing my application and it may take longer to hear back from them ....since then nothing.....
what will be the next step....does anyone has generic copy of medical request and police request?

After they reach should I just inform IRCC about that and update their current address on the file?

When r ur parents coming. My parents have super visa and their file is in New Delhi. They r coming on October 11. If ur parents r coming before that pls share their experience on airport and what questions were they asked?

I have sponsored my mother (from India)

I dont have birth certificate, so I submitted passport that clearly states Mothers name.

But IRCC does not accept this. They have now asked for School records (SSC certificate), aadhaar card, voters ID.

I dont have voters ID but

I DO HAVE School records (SSC certificate), aadhaar card. But at the time I got these, mothers name was not mentioned. For example, when I passed SSC, mothers name was not on the certificate.

So I will submit but these are not useful documents to prove relationship.

Anyone facing this problem. Can we write a letter to explain.

I have heard an affidavit works, but also a DNA test.
