Hi guys! I'm Tanya and I've recently been admitted to the MSc International Business program at HEC Montreal for January 2021 intake. I got an email from my university that my program will mostly be online. It could be hybrid (online+on campus classes) but that depends on what happens in the next few months). I applied for my visa this morning. Do ya'll think I should defer to September 2021 intake? Because paying 7300 CAD for a semester just to do it online from your home country sucks. I'm very confused as I graduated with a bachelor in business administration last year and deferring would mean a gap of 2 years.
Would appreciate your help!!
Morally also it isn't correct. How can they keep everything shut except the colleges. Shut the colleges too!
Entering into canada is a totally different thing atleast they can grant us the full approval. We're tired of hanging between AIP and VACs.
100% their economy is going to crash. everyone in the world isn't a fool.

Well there's no end to demands, isn't it? Even if they are justified. Students are going to demand for full approvals, then they'll demand for entry in to Canada or try to fly in to Canada any way and be denied at border. Unprecedented times = unprecedented or extreme measures. Though I do think that they should now start working on full approvals but I also see that this is the only way they can control the huge influx of students trying to enter Canada by ignoring travel restrictions.
