Are the biometric number and expiry date updated on your profile????

my 2015 biometrics information was shown on my profile since May. but for my PR application it still says that I have to do my biometrics

surprise if it is already updated they should process, My biometric information was also shown in my profile since March, still got a letter for biometric and now it is exempted. don't know what to do!!!!

I'm pretty much sure that the ircc agent also didn't know the process.

Aor march 17, CEC inland.VO : Ottawa CPC

It says : officers review :Eligibility
-Required police certificates NRT,no concerns.Integrated search completed, no adverse info found.Criminality pending only biometrics.All other requirement met.
Approval pending Biometrics.

can anyone explain the last line please..

Your biometrics are pending, once you give them, your eligibility and criminality, both will be approved.

Talked to an IRCC agent over the phone in regards to my biometrics (Because I'm exempt from giving one as I have given one in 2015), but the agent said your application is on hold because you haven't replied back to the biometric request letter we have given you. he said that you have to write a letter, mention that you have given your biometrics in 2015 and then your application will continue to be processed. I'm so confused at this point. did you guys had to do that?

The agent told me that my biometrics were accepted from my visa application and its an automated process and therefore my criminality was passed. He even mentioned that nothing was required from my side. And now this, What is happening??

FFs, they need to exempt biometrics for everyone. COVID cases are rising and Service Canada is gonna close down again.

You should be good and nothing should be needed from your side. Can you imagine if everyone who is exempt (or think they are) would reach them out? That would be a mess, again. I'm pretty sure it's an automated system.

I Just received call from SC for Biometrics appointment.

AOR: 28 March, 2020

Location: Windsor, Ontario

From what number did you get call...can you plz share it..??? i got one call in the morning but missed it...

Criminality and security are two separate stages and criminality is done along with R10, where as security is done after eligibility is passed.

Thanks for your reply, I was not sure if those two stages are somehow connected (biometrics..) I passed my eligibility in the second half of May and on my last GCMS notes from late August were still "not started".

Most application are currently being put on hold. Even those that are approved get a letter that the application has been approved, but due to travel restrictions they cannot travel.
