I am actually not sure. I dont remember if i gave biometrics in the past. If one March AOR was processed last week, lets wait a bit more. I will update if things change on my side. My AOR was March 4th, so it should be pretty high up the ladder.

I gave my biometrics in 2015 for student visa. it showed up on my PR application on May and said it's valid till 2025. however under the checklist it still says we haven't received your fingerprints and check the biometrics letter. nothing has been updated on my account after when my medical passed. it's just so frustrating.

Same situation here, maybe try to call IRCC to confirm?

just called IRCC, the agent told me it will take them few days/weeks to update MyCIC system to show the biomatrix exemption... but he said no need to worry about that, if the policy says so, we will get exemptions. just make sure your biomatrix information is still valid.

According to this link, i dont have Biometrics. I could swear i did give it somewhere. I guess my PR is not gonna be processed further, until i hear some news on Biometrics.

I haven't had any luck talking to a real person when I call IRCC. how did you talk to a real person? I have tons of questions to ask from them. haha

haha first listen to their whole introduction when you dial in, and then choose 8 for inquires about biomatrix xxxx, and then listen to their introduction about 3 min, and then choose 0 to talk with a person. sometimes they are not available to transfer your call, may have to call them later and try again. hope this works.

Talked to an IRCC agent over the phone in regards to my biometrics (Because I'm exempt from giving one as I have given one in 2015), but the agent said your application is on hold because you haven't replied back to the biometric request letter we have given you. he said that you have to write a letter, mention that you have given your biometrics in 2015 and then your application will continue to be processed. I'm so confused at this point. did you guys had to do that?

Really? This is new to me. Hopefully someone can help to confirm this. I did not write any letter like this yet
