Hi . I am new to this thread. I want to start an application for H&C as i am put status now and have been told to leave Canada. Just want to ask a couple of questions before that. I have two children one is canada born . I am here since 3 years . Will i be able to stay in canada if i apply for PR under H&C and also can i work during the process of my H&C application? Any response would be helpful

First,do you have a lawyer and have you applied for PRRA(Pre removal assessment).This will help you defer your removal from Canada and it’s also been proven to cause application to move quickly .please apply as soon as possible.Leverage this pandemic to your advantage.Best of luck

Since you’ve been asked to leave,that means you’re now out of status.H&C does not give status nor does it stop your voluntary leave.You can’t wait until there’s a decision on your application.Once you leave though,your application will continue to be processed while you’re outside of Canada.Ircc will let you know if your application is approved or not.If it’s approved,then you will be invited to come back.You really should get a lawyer to help you with this
The voluntary request turns into a deportation order if you don’t leave. Having a Canadian child does not guarantee H&C approval.
If you have a good lawyer you can stay here in Canada i was out of status from 2016 and was ask to voluntarily to leave Canada after my first h&c was denied. but my son was born here in Canada hes was a special need child, and yesterday I got my Aip from a second h&c I applied for with a very good lawyer! And with the help of God.
Ok. My question is how do you update your file? Do you need your lawyer to do it for you or you can do it yourself? And if so how do you fo it?
Need an advise today I did fingerprints for my USA police Clearance. Because my hand sweat too much the lady who did my Fingerprints she said it’s not that clear it should because of my hand was sweating. She said it can Approve or Reject by FBI because there are too strict. Please advise me what should I do in that case. Should I go and Do the fingerprints again or just send the one I got
