Does it mean there are still more aips gonna be sent out?Canada’s immigration minister: 56,000 study permits approved in first stage
Canada's immigration minister Marco Mendicino provided an international student update on September 22, 2020.
I will not know but I think this is a mini fraction considering the volume of application with IRCCDoes it mean there are still more aips gonna be sent out?
Canada approved 404,000 permits in 2019. With a refusal rate of around 26%, let's say total applications are 546,000. Out of that study permits are distributed throughout the year but given May, September intake are the highest and people are even applying for Winter now, I'll say 350,000 applications made. Let's say the approval rate is still the same so for the 56,000 approved, there is 26% refused. That will be 75,676.I will not know but I think this is a mini fraction considering the volume of application with IRCC
I believe the refusal rate was reported to be higher, at 39%, leading to an estimate of around 662,300 total applications. The rest is all too speculative but it certainly seems like their hands are more than full.Canada approved 404,000 permits in 2019. So 75,656/350,000
is around 21.6% response rate. Around 80% still unanswered?
If I were outside Canada right now without a visa, then I would not expect to travel to Canada anytime soon , potentially until next Fall when students won't fall for AIP charade twice and the government will be forced to open the border due to the hurt on universities' bottom line.Noticed in the news that
"Once the students are able to travel to Canada, they need to complete a medical exam, criminal background check, and biometrics in order to get stage two study permit approval."
does it mean.... they will issue stage 2 approval only when they allow international student go to Canada??!?!
Is it possible to travel to Canada before the stage 2 approval?. I don't understand the Canadian immigration minister. How possible is that?.Noticed in the news that
