Will Scars which are 10 years old cause a problem in my medical clearance?

I have scars in my left arm which was a result of an abusive relationship. These scars are 10 years old.

Will this cause any problem with my medical test.
Is there a chance of any complication?

TIA

You should be upfront and address the issue and explain why you have the scars. If you try to avoid talking about them and they are seen then it could raise concerns.

Thanks.
These scars are really old and I didn't do the same. The person I was with hurt me.
As advised by you the truth is as mentioned above and I will be vocal about it.
But my doubt is should I explain this myself or should I wait for the physician to ask.
What's your opinion?
Has anyone ever been rejected in the terms?

TIA

It will not matter, up to you if you want to be sure for yourself, then ask. If they ask, then tell them otherwise it doesn't matter, it will not raise concerns. I've never really "remembered" that I had tattoos, then they asked and I said yes and they said to do one extra blood test and that was it.

Thanks Amyung. I spoke to a Physician and he confirmed that it will not be a problem.
Rather he started laughing when I raised my query.
In general what all were the tests you went through?
TIA

Medical check is rather simple unless you know you have some kind of diseases.
-regular check-up
-urine test, blood test (one extra test of hepB for tattoos), xray

It depends. If the scars indicate self-injury, complicated surgeries, and whatnot, then yes. Otherwise, no. For example, if you fell and gave yourself a scar on the forehead, you don't need to worry. But if you have cut marks on your wrist, you have to explain it, and possibly undergo a psychological evaluation at your own expense.

Thanks Mate. I spoke with few panel physicians. They said it won't be a concern because they will be looking for major diseases.
