I followed Mitch55555's advice and, that's what he did, got our PPR today. It isn't cheap but if you can manage it, I believe it's worth it.

sent them that i was to pay for shipping and all but.... so far nothing it's been a week so it's just been ignored basically

You're right, it is still closed and the only reason I got PPR is that I sent them a webform and told them I would pay for courier return to MVO. And it took me just over a week - 8 days to be exact before they responded, so hopefully yours will be very soon!

They can do zoom interview or find an alternative way somehow.
Canada is going to have a second way and their stupid process are going to delay ppls lives again. Sooo frustrated

We can confirm that the passports were received. We hope to finalize the printing and send them back to you next week.

I paid for next day shipping and they send mail out Thursdays so we are hoping next Friday or Monday we will get them. We are hoping to book flights

Hi,

We received PPR on Friday as well through an email. I used the webform then forgot I did not specify that we could pay for the return of the passport as well. I sent another message the same day.

Few days later, I sent an email. The presence of my husband is needed in Canada for a specific urgent situation. They responded to my email sending me PPR three days later. We will send everything required on Tuesday.

So far, three of my flights have been canceled with Copa and air Canada. I have three flights booked with United airlines on Thursday if Its not canceled. A long and expensive trip to get to Montréal. I don’t know if my husband will find flights easily in two or three weeks.

I know, I've been checking the flights every day for a month now. I don't dare book anything until I have the passport back in my hand with COPR because the airlines keep cancelling flights and they don't give you a refund, only a credit to use in the next 12 months. The problem is if you can't find a flight with that airline and have to use another you're basically screwed.... you need to have deep pockets for the last part of this venture!!

I haven't been able to contact any international couriers in CR yet because they don't work on the weekends and the website doesn't recognize the kind of addresses we have in CR ... no street #s or names, just "turn left at Maxi Pali, then right at first intersection, third yellow house on right with black gate, etc." The best service I can get here is 3 days and that doesn't count the day it's picked up. I need to talk to someone to book a pickup and return, so more time wasted waiting for that! This process should be called the Waiting Game!

your passport were sent to Trinidad VO also?
Hoping to receive back mine this week from them also!
