Could someone please, please provide me with the reference letter format for NOC - 5121. I am a copywriter by profession and I am looking to collect all my documents and keep them ready.

I am a content writer for a software company and am in the same boat as well. The job roles and responsibilities do not align well with NOC 5121 or 1123- professional occupations in marketing, advertising and PR. My work involves writing website, blog and social media content but I am confused about the NOC code to pick.
In case you went ahead with 5121 and have received a reference letter for the NOC, would you mind guiding me for the same?

Hey! So I after cross checking, if your offer letter and designation states that you're a copywriter or content writer, don't bother about the roles and responsibilities listed. The scope of work is vast. Ensure to cover all the responsibilities you do and you can explain the rest in the LOE (Letter of explanation).

• Study and determine selling features of products and services and write text for advertisements and commercials.

I work as a digital copy writer but the job title in my company is "Social Media Specialist". However, the tasks are similar to a copywriter. Also, my job includes a combination of tasks between NOC 5121 and NOC 1123 (however it doesn't cover all of the points of NOC 1123).

So, would it be a problem if I applied under NOC 5121 with a job title of "Social Media Specialist" and a job description with a combination between 5121?

Ah ok! I'm going for express entry. It's been almost 3 years and a total roller coaster ride. Finally when things were falling in place the pandemic happened and I'm stuck again. Hopefully everything gets done soon.

The reference letter for writers is different for every person especially writers. List down yours and them compare it to the NOC you're selecting from the cic website.
