Yes Still waiting:confused:.
October application returned in January.
IRCC received January 30.
Thought I was the only remaining Oct applicant (returned on Jan).
I see I got company. :-)

I am horrified when I read the comments in that news article.
These people are mostly right. BUT they forgot one thing & that is the history of their predecessors who came to north america from europe just like us for a better life.
Also, it's not only that we want to come here, these countries need us too.
:)

Is that possible that they wave all the citizenship test/exam due to pandemic and overwhelming backlog and grant us all citizenshipand take oath?

This will require a change in Citizenship Act.

Anything is possible with IRCC

The easiest thing that cic can start is to conduct interviews(like for those who fail test twice) which wont delay us much as well as cic doesnt need to wait for any direction/rule change. Interview decision will be within dept's control instead of waiting for lawmakers to change the rule. But seems they could not decide on anything but i wonder how they suddenly(in 3 months of pandemic) decided on oath and conducting lot of oath ceremonies and no decision on tests yet even after 6 months.

Good idea, I think it's better than waiting for test who can't be put in place for technical and for security reason .

Yes, I'm still waiting for AOR.
This is strange, those who submitted in March have got AOR and Jan applicants are still waiting for AOR.

It's a big disappointment that my original Oct 2019 application was returned because of a missing checkbox.

Now a Jan 24th applicant . still waiting for AOR.
