Greetings folks, please can someone help.me, I want the link to most current, or updated checklist, and also I want know if all family members mentioned schedule A, imm5669 write their names and sign? Because my application has been returned to me after 10months of submition. Am so depress.
I’m really sorry to hear that. That’s a long time to wait for an application to be returned.

Was the reason for the refusal due to a missing signature? If it was something like that they should have made it quite clear in the refusal letter. Or if you weren’t using the proper checklist, etc.

There is one signature that also needs to be both typed and signed by hand.

Just letting you guys know my current situation.

Family Sponsorship from Portugal.

1. Application Received - 03-02-2020
2. Biometrics Letter - 21-02-2020 (Gave my biometrics on 04-03-2020)
3. Medicals Letter - 24-02-2020
4. Sponsor approved - 26-02-2020
5. Application forwarded to CPC Mississauga - 27-02-2020
6. Medical results received by th CPC

And then silence.

Everything was going so fast and then it stopped, anyone on the same situation?
Starting out, your file was moving as they normally do at Mississauga, and if not for Covid you would have likely seen a slowdown here as you enter into background, security and all that fun stuff, (if the file is remaining at Mississauga) but not usually this long of a slowdown from that Visa office.

Thanks to Covid and the Mississauga office being closed for so long, there really is no way to say at this point when they’ll pick up the file again, especially if they had plans to send it to another visa office. You may want to order your notes and find out if it's being looked at.

So you're saying that I should contact the immigration office to check if they're processing my file? Thank you.

Anyone still have no AOR1? My app was apparently received according to Canada Post at their Sydney office on February 17th but nothing since. I've sent a few webforms asking for updates (One in April, July, and last week), and all three replies are the same, mentioning that they are working on applications received before February 12...

I'm assuming others have been receiving the same reply as well?
Yes.. I got the same reply on 14th Aug. My application was received on 21st Feb and no AOR1 yet.

No worries, I'm just trying to help. I have been waiting for Sydney to start sending files to VO for those stuck in Mid March Sydney. This is great news for me as well, as I am next in line to ship out of Sydney. Any day now....
Fingers crossed I’m in that pile too... !
