Called IRCC today and they told me that tests are still suspended although we’re getting “in process” these days. I hope they are wrong and test are resuming soon.
I sent them a feedback last week and I received the standard response that they are still processing Jan .Give one more week, if not call the agents to check the status. Still feel they are working on last week of January as well.
Not sure if "in-process" actually means the office close to where I live is open and processing applications. I believe the status changes to "in-process" by Sydney, NS case processing when they send the application over to the local office (in my case Ottawa) but that doesn't mean Ottawa office is ready to process my application. Hope I am wrong.Great news! Means ottawa office is open now and so they start processing applications! When was your application received ?
Good luck.
Thats possible that sydney office changes the status after transferring the files because couple of cases were changed to inprocess within 1-2 days of AOR. But still confused on why it takes more than 4 weeks in many cases to update to inprocess. Not sure if "in-process" actually means the office close to where I live is open and processing applications. Any timeline for when they are expected to restart?Called IRCC today and they told me that tests are still suspended although we’re getting “in process” these days. I hope they are wrong and test are resuming soon.
No, unfortunately.Any timeline for when they are expected to restart?
I came across the below response posted on IRCC official twitter account back in 14-Jul-2020 that stated "IRCC is reviewing operations and considering options for resumption of services which could include online citizenship tests"I believe that online test for citizenship would be challenging to implement. Although the oath ceremony is now carried out online, I believe they would not extend it to the test
You are not alone for sure...Guess the steam of Jan 2020 applications has cooled down.
I still wait for my AOR. (Jan 24 delivery).
I now check my mailbox everyday, just to make sure I send it back the 3rd time right.
Am I the only one that remain?anyone else?
Picky cic. As they are anyway taking more than a year to process and taking months in between each stage, dont know why they return the application instead of asking for corrected version(as they are going to spend the same amount verifying till the application is complete). At least they should do this for small mistakes in the form.Guess the steam of Jan 2020 applications has cooled down.

Oh yes, wish there was a policy update recommendation somewhere.Picky cic. May I ask which version did you use?Oh yes, wish there was a policy update recommendation somewhere.
I was shocked they sent my whole family package back for missing "checkbox" , and now the only concern is the application version, which is definitely out of date.
