Hi everyone, I got ITA and completing documentation. I have a query. Anyone got PCC from Pakistan recently? I am having issue to obtain one from there as they have online system and not issuing on authority letter. A person must be their to get his PCC. Please share experience and advise. Thanks

This is probably me being silly and obsessive: I saw a ghost update (profile / application updated) on Friday on my cic portal but no email for it. No actual change in profile, no BIL, no medical update and it has gone back to Submitted after I logged back out and in. And I have always had a false IP2 message (we are processing your bg check...) displaying from the very first day, so that remains the same too. I am hoping that the ghost update was for either the R10 or the medicals being completed.

Does anyone know which of the two typically takes IRCC longer to complete or if there is an order in which they complete these? It's a family of four (couple and 2 kids), so perhaps the medicals take longer than the r10. Not seeing an actual change in my profile despite the ghost update since Friday is worrying me.

I hope everyone else is hanging in there.

So I completed my biometrics today and can see it updated in my webportal on IRCC.

It's now, likely, just a long wait from this point right? No more major indicative updates I'll see?

Unless they request additional docs from you, it should mostly just be a waiting game at this point.

so the biometrics information appeared in the applicant information section but did the biometrics part in the status changed to completed or still showing we need your finger prints ?

Both. Updated in the applicant information section and the status down below is showing as completed.

I think i should raise a webform as i have given biometrics on 1st of September & the biometrics number & dates (expiry, ..etc.) appeared in my profile the same day in applicant information section.
However, my profile home page still shows “your action is required” & inside the profile, the biometrics section still says we need your fingerprints!

Ah that's annoying. Yeah seems like that couldn't hurt. I think I may have read elsewhere on these forums of people having a similar issue, and it ended up not impacting their application at all. But it can't hurt to inquire.

Your will see your status in MyCIC change. You will see your medicals passed and your BGC change twice. The eligibility will stay as is until your COPR is generated.

Your status will change to the prior message, no action is required.
IRCC has finished reviewing my additional document, Additional Document section is displaying "Not applicable" now.
By the way, my application status has been updated as well, with BGC message says "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.". I guess it has entered a new phase.

@legalfalcon hope you may be able to assist.
Anyone else who knows may also help.

I moved my residence 2 weeks before submitting the complete application. However, I totally forgot to update this in the address history. What should I do now? Is there a way to update my address history? Is updating it necessary? My post address is my office address. So I am only referring to my address history of where I have lived.
