Any idea how long it is taking in India now days for Canada TRV. Does the biometric come as last step or first step, because I know biometrics are closed till September end.

In that case, should we apply and get other steps done while VACs are closed?

I’m in the same boat.

applied TRV from MIL in first week of September. Got biometrics request within a few days. VACs are not open in India. So no idea when biometrics will be complete. Applied to Bangalore consulate.

I applied for my wife's TRV from USA ( immediate family member of a PR)
