We also had review required under eligibility. That is the Sydney officer telling the local VO to further review the file. My timeline is similar to yours. On the security page, does it show 15.1 on the top right hand corner? Once your security is complete, criminality and eligibility will follow. You should get DM soon enough.
It’s comforting to know that you also had this status. There’s no 15.1 because as I understand firstly they need to finalize the Eligibility part and after that they start the Security part. It only says Protected B.
I'm not sure what you mean by eligibility assignment, but yes, ours does have the phrase review required at the end. It seems to be directly linked in the para to the police certificate. There's a separate point in a different note about sponsor eligibility that says please review.

Hope this helps. I'm sure review required may have some meaning but I'm guessing some are standard, may be relevant with relation to what specifically the review required was written.
I only have “Eligibility Assignment 1“, only this part has “Review required”. As I read on the forum it’s fine to have “Please review” or “Waiting for review”, but somehow “Review required” under Eligibility means something not good. Now I think it was a bad idea to order my notes haha. «Меньше знаешь, крепче спишь».

Hello everyone. I got an update yesterday, a request letter/additional information. Applicant resides in Estonia. My application is October 2019 Spousal sponsorship, VO at Warsaw, Poland. I got my AOR2 June 3rd. I have done biometrics, medical and submitted all documents required. The Ukraine police certificate was requested for as an additional document. We sent it and received confirmation that it has been sent to Warsaw, Poland on March 19th, 2020

Yesterday, I got a request again to send my Ukraine police certificate. What do you think happened? What should I do? I'm terrified. Do we have to do another police certificate or resend them the first one?

Hi! It’s nice to see they’re working! What is the expiration date for the Ukrainian police certificate?

There is no expiry date on the certificate but it was done on February 27th, 2020. Do you think we need another one? What can we do with this pandemic on the loose? Arrrghhhh!

I actually read somewhere that all police certificates for IRCC are good for a year. Maybe you should email them saying that you sent them the certificate 6 months ago and haven’t been to Ukraine since then. If they say they definitely need a new one, just order and send it as requested. IMHO. Probably someone has a better piece of advice.
UPD: Google says the Ukrainian police certificates are valid for 6 months. Maybe that’s the reason why they requested it again. But I would still ask them to clarify this.

Random question here but does medical expire after a year? My wife did her medical in December 2019 and I'm wondering if she'll have to do it again if things continue to drag on.

Generally yes, but I’ve seen many people whose medical results were extended due to Covid. I honestly don’t think they would make you wait any longer. You could just send them an email demanding to get PPR if you wouldn’t get it next week. Keep in mind that she will have to land in Canada before her medical results expire.

I was told by a person at Moscow embassy that for the moment - since the medical offices mostly closed - they are doing automatic extensions when necessary (that is, of the validity of the medical results).

Obviously that may change but there's no sense worrying about it in advance.

I'm in a bit the same situation, although frankly more worried that COPR will be issued with a validity that will make travel/timing extremely difficult.

Worrying in advance is the core of who I am as a person. I'm super neurotic, especially about this. Must. Control. Variables.

Sounds like you want the illusion of control, like some offices have thermostats that aren't connected to anything to make everyone feel better.

Buy a big button, mount it on a wall and label it "immigration"; push it every time you walk by.

Hello again, anybody know how to contact the Canadain embassy in Moscow? their phone number is not working, and they are not responding to emails.
I have no idea what else I can do. I have sent 3-4 emails, and VFS in Moscow sent them a request.
It has been more than 6 months since they got my passport.
Firstly VFS told me that my passports are in Moscow VFS, then today they are telling me that my passports are in Embassy. I guess they have no idea where are my docs.
I also called to IRCC Canada, they told me that everything is done, i can get me passports and travel to Canada. (closed work permit).
