Thank you @legalfalcon

RPRF is always requested, if not paid when the application is submitted, during the eligibility stage. In most cases, the RPRF is requested when the eligibility has been assessed by an analyst / assistant and recommend passed and awaiting a final review by an officer.

Getting the RPRF request indicates a good sign and indicates eligibility as recommended passed.

Is this the right time to order GCMS notes also, so that I could check the exact status?

Hello @legalfalcon I had raised a webform and below is the response.

We verified the information on file and can confirm that:

· The application is still in process.

· The responsible office reviewed the application and documents submitted and determined that you meet the eligibility requirements under the class for which you have applied.

Does it mean that eligibility is passed? Is this the eligibility check done by analyst or officer?

I submitted a web form on Aug 28th and received today with below information. I asked them my application status but they didn't answer it.

Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

Due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only.

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website. We will make all the necessary efforts to finalize the application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

Furthermore, please note that there are two ways you can check your application status online. You can verify the status of your application:

  • Submitted by mail (if it was not linked to an online account):
  • Submitted online orsubmitted by mail and linked to an online account:
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

It could be recommended passed or conclusively passed. To know the exact status you will have to see your GCMS notes. But this is a good sign.

No, it only indicates that you submitted the requested document. The MyCIC status doe snot indicate or let you know if you have passed eligibility. Send a webform, call IRCC, or see your gCMS notes to get the exact status on eligibility.

This is the one you gave in your previous application for temporary visa (work permit, study permit, visitor visa, etc.)

Some people (inland Canada) on this forum claimed that IRCC is using their old TRV biometrics to process their PR applications, while others claimed they still need to wait for Service Canada to accept biometrics. Just wait and see how things go in the next few months.
I don't think anyone has claimed their old biometrics are used. The claim is that those information are populated in the application and that is because the UCIs get linked...

A few people made flights of fantasy based on old biometric info being used to populate the biometrics fields in some applications. Hence the “claims”
