How Ankara office really work? I have submitted my application in May 8th 2019 and was transferred to Ankara in July and still no answer (still in process). And people who have applied after me in months are getting passport requests!? Aren’t they suppose to finish people who applied first then the people who applied after? This is really unfair. I have sent them so many emails and all I get is ‘due to the stupid pandemic blah blah blah’.

Try to send them emails but don’t forget to submit your your application info like the full name of the applicant and file number

I did. I submitted all our information but all I got was due to COVID 19 message. I’m gonna try my MP and see if he can do something for me. It’s been a year and 4 months and still nothing

Just wanted to give you guys an update about our application, I thought maybe our good news might bring some hope for the rest of us who are waiting for any updates on their applications - I sponsored my wife in September 2019 and our Visa Office is Ankara as well. Fortunately, we got our pre-arrival letter today; I also checked our application status in ECAS and found out our status is now changed to decision made for both of us, here is the timeline of our application:

Application sent in Late Aug 2019
AOR1 Sept 13
Application sent to Ankara VO October 2019
Did both medical and biometric in November 2019
Got our pre-arrival letter today Sept 2020
Status in ECAS changed to Decision made today Sept 2020

I really hope every one get good news before they pass the normal 12 months - also I wish my wife get her pass request real soon; can't wait to see her again it's been 1.5 year since the last time we spent time together - btw we had a very strong case as we are in relationship for more than 8 years of which 6years has been long distance - so you could imagine how heavy and inclusive was our applications.

Wish you all the best, and I will update you guys when/if we get her PPR.

We just got the Pre-arrival email. October applicant. Also, ecas status changed to "in process" from "application received".

Ecas shows "decision made" now. good new keep coming

Congratulations Khashy! wish all of us get the news for which we have been waiting for so long. It is just interesting you got AOR1 about 2 weeks after sending your application. I am mid-July applicant and got AOR1 at the same day as you.

I totally understand your frustration, But still it seems just a few people have received PPR who might have some special situations that put them in priority. Also, a few days ago a May applicant got PPR and Decision Made at the same day. Lets keep fingers crossed and hope for the best
