You don’t need to do anything. Once biometrics collection resumes, you can use your original BIL even when it has expired. If you check the Biometrics page on the IRCC website, it confirms this, for peace of mind!Do people who cannot provide biometrics before the deadline need to inform ircc about it or nothing is needed to be done from our end?
Most of those who got AOR in March and April did not get to give their biometrics (Inland) so their applications will probably stop at that point once they get the biometrics everything will move on.If there will be no updates this Monday, I will almost lose my hope for biometrics. It would mean to me they can even ask in October or in 2021

Wondering if there is any people who got PPR with April/March AOR?
As far as I have been told by a friend who is now a Canadian Citizen that before their PR application 1 day 0.5 up to 1 year, but starting with their application date the days are counted towards their citizenship. These waiting days dont count towards citizenship
I was counting on that ... Well we have nothing to do then only to wait and hopeThese waiting days dont count towards citizenship
Thank you for your support but I haven't received any info since July 13(MEP&BIL) but considering people who got AOR's around mine passed from everything except biometric so, I assume I should have passed too since I havent been asked to provide anything etc. I am lazy to request GCMS I think they do not have any option other than waiving biometrics as 45k people waiting for biometrics. If they don't it will be at least a month to get appointment(nightmare). On the other hand, people who have been waiting since March will be very pissed if they see a waive after 6 monthsMost of those who got AOR in March and April did not get to give their biometrics (Inland) so their applications will probably stop at that point once they get the biometrics everything will move on.
Waiting for Biometrics is not a problem, they will eventually solve this problem. So relax especially when you know that you passed everything because these waiting days/weeks/months are counted towards your citizenship. The problem is why the delay with the BOWP, it hinders renewing the OHIP, and many employers reconsider when they know that I am on the implied status with an expired SIN. I lost three chances in two months because of this reason. So the only thing is to stay positive and hopeful. We are all in the same situation

Yep, if you’re staying in Canada with a valid status. “Each day of physical presence in Canada as an authorized temporary resident or protected person before becoming a permanent resident, counts as one half day, with a maximum of 365 days credit towards physical presence.”As far as I have been told by a friend who is now a Canadian Citizen that before their PR application 1 day 0.5 up to 1 year, but starting with their application date the days are counted towards their citizenship.
The only thing I found online about this, is that when you become a PR, but it also says before and after the PR application. I hope that did not change now.
Yes, I think if this lasts longer they might consider using the biometrics they have for the inland applicants at least.Thank you for your support but I haven't received any info since July 13(MEP&BIL) but considering people who got AOR's around mine passed from everything except biometric so, I assume I should have passed too since I havent been asked to provide anything etc. I am lazy to request GCMS I think they do not have any option other than waiving biometrics as 45k people waiting for biometrics. Also my question is, is there any people who provided biometrics somehow got PPR?
What additional document did you provide? I do not expect them asking me additional documents since it was very straightforward application. My AOR is May22 as I mentionedIF you check this website and try calculating your physical presence it counts the day since your PR application date it says it is within the eligible period
My AOR May 15 and on 19 August I have been asked to submit an additional document and that they started processing my application. so give it some time... You will be just fine
They asked for IMM5604 for my son from the non-accompanying parent. They did not ask for that with the application so it is normal. What additional document did you provide? I do not expect them asking me additional documents since it was very straightforward application. My AOR is May22 as I mentioned
You passed everything only the biometrics left, right? What additional document did you provide? I do not expect them asking me additional documents since it was very straightforward application. My AOR is May22 as I mentioned
