Application updated today, Aug 26 (but no email), to say my PR card has been approved and mailed! Will update again when I receive it :)

Make sure you enter all the info like name, place of birth etc exactly the same as it is on your passport. Also, when it asks for the date you became PR, put the date you got approved in your CIC account, not the date you got your COPR. That’s what I was doing wrong and when I changed the date...

My COPR took 5 days and arrived by email, but it depends on the visa office and how fast they are processing. My office was Etobicoke. PR card I think is around 4-5 months at the moment.

Hi everyone! Sorry if this has been asked before. I was finally able to link my PR card application to my CIC account. Is it normal that the list of steps on the application is the same as it was for PR? Like it has medial exam, eligibility, biometrics, etc? Obviously those things aren’t needed...

You can also apply online for a SIN! You just need to upload the COPR, a copy of your passport and a proof of address.

Don’t worry, mine did that too while I was waiting for my COPR. It kept changing to a different thing every time! I got my COPR in the end and all was fine, so I think it’s just a system glitch.

I read in another thread that you can go to your CIC account and click on the ‘link existing application’ section and search by your UCI and place of birth. Once IRCC have entered your PR card application into their system, you should be able to find the application that way and link it to your...

I just saw on the tracking that mine has been delivered. I’ll wait a few days and then see if I’m able to link the PR card application to my CIC account.

Mailed my PR card photo on Friday and it’s getting delivered to the IRCC Etobicoke office today. And so the wait for the PR Card begins!

Maybe they’re doing it in AOR date order, rather than approval date. We will never know their logic! Lol
