-Biometrics receipt date in the profile, July 27th

Here is the progress of my file found through submission of webform:

"We verified the information on file and can confirm that your application is currently at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, for processing.

We verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is still in process.

We can confirm that:

· The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,

o you may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.

· The security background verification has not been initiated.

· The criminal background verification is currently valid.

· The medical examination results on file are valid.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment."

Seems like the case is moving slowly.

Can you show the exact message you send via webform to get this reply,I have tried once but they didnt mention my visa office even after I asked specifically about it!

21 july. Got mail about aplication update. And online account also indicated update. Only new uci was alloted. Nothing else changed. Was that ghost update?
Mep/ bil 22 july.
Biometric submitted on 03 aug
Ghost update on 24 aug without email. Background status changed to your application is in process.
What this update indicate? Ip1 or ip2 ? Can i expect rprf in few days?

FOr FSW-O (which you are), IP1 background check message is "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check." You should have gotten an email notification for this stage. (The order of things is False IP->IP1->IP2).

I am under FSW-O, and I am currently at IP1, but I didnt receive any email notification. After submitting my RPRF, when I logged into check the status, it displayed the IP1 statement against Background check.

This is what I wrote:
"Hi, I would like to know the progress of my Permanent Residence Application made through Express Entry program of Federal Skilled Worker Stream. I would like to know
-the local office where my application is being processed inside Canada?
-whether I have passed the Eligibility?
-whether I have passed the background check?
-whether I have passed the criminal check?
-whether I have passed the security check?

I am 15 may Aor, cec inland
Simple profile, no travel history, no experience backhome, given language test CELPIP and ECA evaluation from PEBC, marriage certificate of ontario, job in toronto. If they want to check my eligibility background security they could have cleared me in a week after taking charge of my application because i think everything is to be verified on Canadian soil and in metropolitan city. But still my file is cold turkey. They are reviewing my eligibility, security under review. Only med passed and bil received on same day of 08 July/2020. I think our applications are not going to move at all unless they start biometric collection for god's sake. My pgwp expiring in October. I think i will be spending thousand dollor because somebody think that people are more vulnerable in service canada due to covid19 than bars and strip clubs.

Haha buddy i can understand your frustation not just you everyone is going through same atleast your file is processing with elgilibity think about applicants from feb ,march till today waiting for approval...CANADA did beg you to be a resident of their home they are giving you an easy oppurtunity to settle here unlike in other countries instead of banning the immigration..To us we see only bars opening and strip clubs opened not service canada centers..Imagine if you run the store and employees in your store regret to work because of dealing with many ppl.on daily basis..every worker has their right to step back if they feel risk at workplace..so we dont know whats happening though service canada opened now probably they may not have enough staff to get rid of the backlogs.You are thinking bout only biometrics but service canada dealing with CERB,EI and if you would have tried calling service canada its more busy than IRCC when it is closes and the other when i came across service canada there is a huge line which easily takes a day to attend all of them even if the center has 4 attendies (on the least)...

My PGWP expired im on implied status so im ahead of what you are facing now..for sure they are charging us soo much but are they asking you to pay or stay its your choice you made it...When the govnt pays off insurance through OHIP you wont think of that money but when the money leaves from your pocket to them we will be screaming...Above all canada have high cost of living,taxes,insurance rates..End of the day its individual choice to choose the country...Im not for the country or against im trying to understand the current situation..

Did you get the status of your application by web form or calling or GCMS? Can you please share the exact response?

No, neither webform nor gcms notes. Got it over the phone that its under process. Some of my friends who got PR last year said that they usually dont update in the profile about security check unless it is finished or about to finish. So according to them I should assume that eligibility is passed and security is either passed or ablut to pass. Just biometric will seal the godamm deal

I dont know bro, as far as I know cerb and/or employment insurance is all online and easy. And as far as I know it is not individual right to step back if they dont feel safe. If they dont feel safe they can step back but it would be quitting not laying off. No benefits are given if employee quit by him/her self. Anyway you are right that there is nothing we can do about it from ourside except being hopeful.

Apply for GCMS notes then you will come to know where exactly your file has been stuck.

did you clear MCQ and OSCE?
