For those who have received AOR, Are you able to login on ECAS and see your application status ?

Last week my application moved from "Application received" to "In process". Submitted in early Jan and received AOR in March.

Yes, I am still waiting. I called again just now and got a not so friendly agent. She didn’t even try to look up for my file like the previous two agents that I have talked to couple weeks ago.
She asked when I submitted my application (Jan16) and told me that this is normal because they are still working on apps received before Jan 14, hence they didn’t open my file yet.
I asked how is it that I can access my eCas then if they didn’t open my file yet - she told me I always have access to eCas. When I said that 1 month ago I didn’t have an access - she said she can’t comment further.
Finally when I asked why people who submitted in February and March already received AORs, she told me not to compare my application to different people because every case is different.

Don’t know what to do at this point

Can you check for your email address in their system. The point that comes in mind is that they have some typo in email address on file. Try to confirm email address

The first agent that I spoke to in July confirmed my email address in their system so there doesn’t seem an error with an email address.
And for sure they have not sent anything yet, because it would have been reflected in eCas with the line « We sent you the correspondence...... » but I don’t have it.

Here's what you should do if you encounter such person. Tell that you submitted on Jan 15 and request them to search for the records if any which is in progress of getting AOR based on UCI.

I know, some are not ready to help, some are willing to help. Some are new and some have probably too much calls hence ignore few calls during the day. With cic its only about waiting waiting and waiting for every step. Hopefully we get our waiting period get over without more pain.

since you case is diffrent, on Ecas it updated application received. not sure, why its not updated AOR is send. how its got updated, did you call or made any request prior.

Just wonder are you the only case waiting for the AOR in January thread.

I found a thread on this forum from 2017 describing the exact same issue like mine. The guy finally got his AOR 2 month after getting his eCas active. So I guess there’s still hope for me
