BLS open slots every few days. I had registered to https://www.alertmeasap.com/ and got email when slots were open. I got appointment and did the submission for my minor child oci last week. this will provide an update once slot is open.

Submitted my minor daughter's OCI application at BLS Brampton(Walk-in) on Oct 10, 2024. They just checked Canadian Passport with application details and returned Passport. If you are submitting postal application then only copies of document required. No need to submit original

Did you checked samaprk portal they reply there only. Don’t raise more than one query at time. Normally raise early morning and they reply on portal by afternoon. That’s what I had experienced.

Once purolator pick up packet from BLS then you can get new tracking number. Check using CANT number every day evening by 6pm. If its picked up then new tracking number will be available

I haven’t received pin yet. BLS status says ready for dispatch. Sometime BLS system does not update purolator pin

You can check purolator website with application number and it will show your tracking number if it’s been picked up from BLS Purolator website there is option to check using PIN or Reference, Reference is your application reference Number.

I checked at 3pm Toronto time and it was processed.

You can also raise ticket with CGI using smpark portal under OCI category. Sometimes It’s stuck at CGI

You can apply for surrender and entry visa on same day. BLS will attach receipt of surrender in entry visa and your Canadian passport with Indian visa will be available in 7-10 days and surrender process will run in parallel.
