January 2019 onwards Paper Based PR Applicants waiting for AOR/MR/PPR

Hi All, hope you are all keeping safe.
about to file a paper based PR application having obtained Ontario PNP for PhD stream without job offer.
I have a few questions if someone can help me with.

1) In the Generic application imm0008, under what program would PNP PhD stream nominee application fall -- is it "economic" or "other" ?

2) Does my provincial nomination letter have to be *valid* at the time my application reaches the office in Nova Scotia or does it have to be valid on the date the Office in Nova Scotia choses to open it to acknowledge receiving it ?

3) From messages on this thread it appears to take a rather long time for processing of these applications? Any idea about how one can expedite processing of these applications at the time of application itself if one can't wait so long ?

4) Alternately upon receipt of job offer, can one apply in a different stream in a parallel online application for permanent residence since it appears they are processed quicker ?

I did not apply for GCMS note , so I don’t know if IRCC extended my time line for one mouth like every one .
My AR is March 29 / 2019
Do you think IRCC extended time line line for the people AR March 2019 too ?????

The timeline is extended to 1 month for everyone. When you login to GCkey you can see that.

Hello everyone. My wife received her CoPR letter this morning. It was dated the same day as my CoPR letter. Looks like the officer forgot to send it along with mine on August 14th.

3. there is no other option except waiting.

I applied for gcms notes on AUG 3 and received them on Aug 20: everything passed, but security not started. Location: ready for ps

no specific notes from the officers but it seems the last date my file was updated was Dec 2,2019 for adr review(rcmp).

My estimated date of completion is now pushed back to Nov 29 this year (it was oct 2020 before COVID-19).

Do you guys believe they can complete processing by this new date??? What is the trend now?

Mine is exactly the same , though I have a slight different time line but my file also shows the last update was on Dec 2, 2019 in GCMS notes. Location : Ready for PS

i know it is usually 3 months before the WP expiring date.
But I have completed 83% on my timeline and I have 2 more months before my WP gets expired.
WP expiring date - Oct 2020.
Estimated timeline date - Nov 2020.

Personally I dont believe in IRCC given timelines now. I would suggest you apply for WP extensions.

It's never too late if you can submit a complete WP extension application b4 your current WP expires

its recommend you should apply 1 month before expiry.
but you can apply one week before expiry, they have to accept it.
